#107This didn't even look like an emotional game for Dallas. Just handled their business and moved on. I'd play them again tomorrow vs Orl.
ANd i would fade the Heat in their next game vs the Suns.Comment -

#108Congrats to everyone on Dallas!
I had +6.5, and got some good money off it, but did anyone end up taking the ML?Comment -

#109Congrats to you as well sir.
I was close to taking them on the ML. Was gonna put a couple of bills but decided to lay off. Too bad.Comment -

#123At -3 (-108) orlando at pinnacle now... I agree, love Dallas here again. Orlando on a back to back as well, coming home from Atlanta tonight. With so much change to their roster (even tho Hedo's back, he's been gone for almost 2 years now), Orlando just isn't right yet.Comment -

#124I like Dallas tomorrow too, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Orlando's new roster band together an pick up an 'emotional' win in front of the fans after tonight's loss.Comment -

Of course anything can happen. But i love the Mavs tomorrow.
Too freaking bad the Suns dont have any games before their match-up with the Heat. It'll be their first with the new players. I really wanna take them because i think the Heat will get an extremely overvalued line.Comment -

#126Turko starting at the SF is a joke. Butler will have a lot of driving lanes to open free 3 pointers.Comment -

#127Dallas matches up very well here I think.
Chandler and Haywood can contain Howard better than most. Dirk will kill Bass. Butler will kill Turkoglu. Nelson and Kidd are close and Stevenson/Marion combo shut down Richardson the other day in the Phoenix game. Terry and Arenas are very similar off the bench and Dallas is deeper with Barea and Marion.Barksdale NBA Picks

Very good post. I agree with all of it. I wasn't very clear in my first post, but I'm taking Dallas too. I have to think about whether to go with the spread or ML though. I'm leaning towards the ML, so hopefully something funny doesn't happen.
And yeah, I think the Heat are overvalued on every spread. I made the mistake of going with the crowd on Heat -12.5 a few nights ago. I don't think I'd touch them on anything above -4 now.Comment -

#129Thats 1 thing you are wrong about. Jameer will blaze by Kidd with ease. Kidd hasn't been able to stay with a quick PG since his Nets days, no surprise they kept him on Wade tonight more then Chalmers.
I love how Mavs go into a zone with easy though, and i like their interior defense a lot, so even if Jameer gets around Kidd he is not gonna have an easy time scoring. I also see the Mavs going with Stevenson/Terry/Barea on him and have Kidd on the SG.
The thing i hate about the Orl trade is that it makes it harder for them to take advantage of those teams where Jameer has the edge (like Mavs and Heat for example). He has to share the ball with Turk and Arenas now and find shots for JRich. I've heard Van Gundy talking about who'll start and he sounded irritated with the idea when someone suggested Nelson could come off the bench. He quickly killed that saying Nelson will start and Arenas or Turk will be the one coming off the bench. He just sounds like he wasn't happy with this trade at all and know that this will effect how and when his best guys get the ball big time.Comment -

#131Yeah, I always want them to lose.
I felt like it wasn't a very good pick - really, I think -12.5 is too big in almost any situation - but I was up on the day and everyone was confident about it.
Guess that's how betting goes sometimes.Comment -

I really like Dallas here. Orlando still hasn't had a full practice together and the new guys basically don't know the offense or defense. They just got killed by an Atlanta team that has been pretty poor lately so I don't see how they are going to beat the best team in the league.Barksdale NBA Picks

#136I guess what I meant that neither guard is really going to dominate the game and takeover and that Nelson isn't really likely to use his speed advantage on Kidd to put up a bunch of points since he is a dish first type guard and I don't think that will help them very much in this game.
