Hey all, I'm a long time sports better, 1st time poster on this forum.
I am newish to NBA betting, but want to sharpen my skills.
This is gonna be a season long thread with all my picks recorded...............

I believe there's some value out there tonight..............

Pacers@Lakers O199 (Their last 8 meetings have been 200+, and I can't see that changing tonight)

Lakers -9 (Pacers are a good team, but they are only getting results against teams with lower than 0.500 records)

Thunder -2 (Yao Mingless Rockets no match for the dynamic Thunder)

Jazz -6 (Utah good at beating the spread on the road, and on current form this ain't gonna change against the 2 man team Clippers)

Wizards +12 (May look like a trap, but I don't believe the Heat gonna make up 12)

Thunder -3.5 (Hornets showed last night their defense isn't all that watertight, and the free scoring Thunder gonna exploit that)

Rockets +8.5(Rockets are scoring heavily, averaging 104.4 pg, and coupled with Dallas averaging 94 at home, should result in possibly a SU win for the Rockets, if not they will cover the spread easily)

Jazz -8.5(Boom! the Jazz are on fire, and against an injury ravaged average Bucks team, 8.5 gonna be cut down in little to no time)

Don't forget before last night brahma, NOH had one of the best defensive records in the league, but I believe last nights game will have shaken the Hornets nest, (excuse teh pun) and expect an amazing offensive unit like the Thunder to post a BIG score, and as long as the Hornets post at least 90 points the game will go OVER.

Not many on here gave the Wizards any chance, even at +12, was close in the end, but knew the Heat wouldn't make up 12 in their current state o mind.

NY Knicks -4.5 (I know the Knicks record at MSG isn't great this season,but against a team that's lost 5 straight on the road, and with Amare Stoudemire at the top of his game the Knicks will cover this spread)

NYK/NJN U205 (Everything points to an under in this game, NYK are 5/7 U at MSG, the last 5 meetings between these two at MSG has gone under, and 6/7 of their last meetings has gone under. NJN are also the 2nd lowest scoring team in the NBA, and although the Knicks defense isn't all that great it will still go U)

After initially seeing nothing of value tonight, I dug a bit deeper and came up with 4 plays.....

Washington +4.5 (Getting +4.5 at home where their record is a respectable 5-3, and having Wall back in the team against a struggling Portland, points to this being a good value bet)

Nets +7.5 (Charlotte has been a happy hunting ground for the Nets, and as long as Farmar and Lopez do the biz, +7.5 will cover it for them)

Knicks +6.5 (Everything points to the Knicks covering here, not least these stats: Hornets are 2-7-1 ATS in last 10 and Knicks 9-2 ATS on the road.)

Celtics -5 (Celtics got the firepower to blow away anyone, +5 never gonna be enough for a shaken up Bulls team)

Magic +3.5 (I hear everyone talking bout the injuries, their on a road trip, playing back to back games, Bucks rested up. One thing no one is talking about is how the Bucks has lost 7 of their last 8 with a fully fit team, and I'm predicting a patched up Magic with +3.5 head start to cover)

Hawks +9.5 (Don't forget the Heat are only 1-6 against teams with .500+ records, and the Hawks are a .500+ team and a class act. I predict the Heat will suffer a major hangover after Thurs LeBron soap opera game, and that the Hawks will take advantage with possibly a SU win)
