i have so much difficulty picking whole games.. i like halves so much better... dividing the lines gives the handicapper a distinct advantage

Credit bobcats for keeping it close, but like you said they suck at closing games. 1 crucial free throw to tie it up, and a bad play running up to get the 3 pointer for the win.
