I had the Over on them lazy bastards last night and was looking good until they got together with the Knicks and decided to combine for 30 in the 4th.

Milwaukee Bucks so far look like NBA version of last year's Phoenix Coyotes.....all defense and zero offense.

They seem happy with it, so why change? That style of play got Boston into the NBA Finals last season.

I love the uberfast Eurodudes that Popovich reels in. He imports em from the old country where they''re just flat out speedsters & running for their lives from them psychotic, suicide-happy, radical Islamists. Ain't no joke, neither. Next thing you know that Imam creep gonna wanna build his bomb happy boys a mosque in Disneyland. Not on my watch, pal.

Anyway, this game is gonna play out rather fast paced for couple of natural reasons. FIrst, Spurs ain't the grind it out type team anymore. They'll try to run Clippers outta the Alamodome. And rightfully so. Second, the Spurs ain't the defensive force they were back when they bitchslapped Billups & crew in the NBA Finals years ago. Wouldn't shock me if the Clippers hit the century mark offensively in this game. Add it up folks, you looking at puny number here that wouldn't dare pass bookie spec after this scorefest comes to a close around 8:30pm Pacifica time zone. Clippers ain't gonna keep this game close, but they'll get their points & that's gonna send this baby way over this puny number.

Nets/Cavs OVER 193 units TBD

This game went under last night in Jersey but don't think there's an ounce of defense between these teams. Every game ain't gonna go over a number that's too low, but last night they rang up a 60 point Q4 and could've easily scored more if high percentage shots fall a little more early in the game. Nets offense sucks, but Cavs defense is like warm butter soaked in a wet paper bag: My one-legged doggie could bust through it.

Bet the over folks, there ain't gonna be a difficult shot attempt all game. Trust me. I'm Whippit.

Only 2 likely ways this bet loses....either Magic play such stifling defense that Toronto scores in the 70 pt range, or Toronto slows this game to a crawl in desperate attempt to keep game close.

Both improbable enough to keep game under this midrange number. Magic don't need to rely on strong defensive effort to win this game when they can much more easily and entertaininly run Craptors outta the building instead.

And Craptors defense is so effin bad it couldn't even slow down a 3-legged horse suffering terminal case of hoofrot.

This number at Mercy of Magic offense, and this gonna be an uptempo game w/easy baskets both sides but no way in hell is Toronto gonna keep this close.

Blazers/Thunder UNDER 195.5

Portland gotta play their bread/butter defensive game to keep score under the number. Not the greatest number here, but good enough to bet under if Portland comes to play. Given the spread is only a couple of points in favor of OKC, I think bookmakers clearly agree with my thinking here. But they threw an O/U number out there that's a little too big because OKC games been sailing over the total so far this year. Not this game, and might get 196 closer to tipoff. Units TBD...

This game boils down to Avs defense, because Jackets ain't giving up goals to nobody. Avs goaltending's been a liability so far, but looks like it's finally stabilizing. I blew chunks couple weeks ago when these teams played in Colorado....dumped on a ridiculous 5-1 score after uncharacteristically bad Steve Mason performance. He was so effin bad the coach pulled him. Pulled him like pork. A pork bastard. Worth the gamble here.....units TBD

Idaho has no chance of winning a road game. Zero. But they're defense ain't so effin bad that they can't cover this gigantic number at home, where nearby Washington border policia waitin to pop a cap in da azz of any dirty Idahoan lookin to trade some filthy spud for crisp royal Washington Galas.

Take the points here.....Idaho's been pummelled by Hawaii & Nevada last 2 weeks, but they wasn't gettin anything close to what they're gettin today.
