Laker fans are largely transparent... they are usually 1 or 2-Dimensional lads that are rarely from LA, … but desperately need to experience winning, thus they choose high market organizations...with a HUGE fan base, that generate the most revenue... (and television ratings).. that in turn spike advertising rates, and ensure in turn that the league will favor them (in the playoffs). They also tend to root for the Yankees for the previously mentioned reasons.

20 of the first 28 games for the Lakers are at HOME. They have one of the weakest schedules in the league. The NBA is setting up LA/MIAMI FINALS already... just like the XMAS-Day game... Lakers/Heat

Stern also ruled against the less popular Phoenix Suns a few years back, suspending Amare Stoudemire for 2 games.. swigning the series over to the immensely popular Spurs..

i must disagree in this case... the last second Slam Dunk would've kept me from winning this bet, and thus i am in favor of disallowing it. I mean basically, i think that if Toronto scored 4-5 more points they probably would've won this game outright.
