NJ -8.5 vs NY? are you kidding me...this team just got blown out by 30 points at home to a tired portland squad, i seriously think this line is about 6 points off

Now all of a sudden people are wondering about big Knicks underdog lines I guess.

I agree with you though, I think the line is a bit too big, although I wasn't too surprised to see it. If the Knicks had lost to Washington, I think it would have been reasonable. Now I think it's a bit too big, although not 6 points too big. I'd say maybe 2 or 3 or so.

This one can really trick you. The main thing they want people to think with this line is exactly what you mentioned. Another thing you have to look at is, can Crawford have an encore of the 6-7 3pt shooting? Are the Knicks going to be tired, even if it is across town? Will the Nets come out to kill the knicks after that pathetic performance? Few things to look at don't just look at the past 2 knicks games and the last nets game. GL.

Marbury is OUT for this one. Then again, that could be a good thing. The Knicks have won the last two games, and Marbury has been out because of bone spurs in his left ankle.

I feel its about 6 points off too. I have the Nets only a -2 for this one.

This game is another trick by the oddsmakers. They want the public to stop thinking how bad the Knicks are after they loaded up points on Detroit, now watch the Knicks get beat by 20 points tomorrow against the Nets..

The Nets lost twice to the Knicks this season so don't expect the net's to come out playing easy ball with them. Their out for revenge.. They WANT the public to think the Knicks are gonna go 3-0 on the season against the Nets and that they should take the knicks because of there recent wins...

Nets win this one by 15+

OR maybe your just using too much reverse-reverse-reverse*etc etc etc*-psychology on yourself, and the spread is what it is

i'm betting the knicks +8 by the way, but I feel that the nets will win so i'm betting their moneyline

Reverse Psychology is always what wins me my NBA bets, except when I'm betting between an elite team and a crappy team. If its the Sonics +8 v the Dallas MAVS, I'm taking the Mavs...If it's the Sonics +7 V the Warriors, I'm probably taking the Sonics..anytime theres an elite team to a lower then average class team, i always take the favorites..2 average class teams, i study the stats and make the study, or do my reverse psychology which always seems to work

Big Nets fan here. Take my advice: Never bet on a Nets game.

They are so all over the place that it makes calling their games a frustratingly inconsistent experience.
