Fade the Heat for the game on the road, Tail the Heat in the 1Q at home, tail the Bucks/Thunder in the 1H at home.

HEat is gonna be the best team to fade and back IMO, especially fading with the crazy lines on the beggining.

Fade favorites ATS, especially at home. I might just fade the Lakers ATS all season, 33-48-1 last season if i'm not mistaken

I think it's dangerous to fade the Lakers at home. Look at the first half (or first 2/3's of last season) of last season. The Lakeshow crushed a lot of their opponents at home. Be careful. Fade the Lakeshow spread on the road more than at home.

it'll be a surprise team. i don't know who it will be but when the season is over but it probably won't be a team everyone's talking about.

think about this...when the thunder were in their first year in oklahoma, they had one of the worst records in the league, but had the same ats record as the 95-96 bulls team who only lost 10 games straight up all season. no one was looking for the thunder to do much of anything that year, and if you say you were from opening day you're lying.

im gonna go out on a limb and raise the possibility of fading the thunder, especially when they are favored over good but unfashionable teams like the bucks. general media are hyping the shit out of OKC, usually a sign that sharps should get on the other side

Yeah last season was sort of a pivotal turning point for the OKC Thunder. At the beginning of the season they were straight up surprising Vegas with some straight up wins when they should've been underdogs, but that did change as it became clear that the Thunder were no longer a joke, but one of the teams of the future anchored by Durant.

i believe gsw covered 45+ times last year, but the general public still considers them a very bad team
on the other hand, boston should earn some inflated home spreads solely from their improbable trip to the finals

Yeah if I recall correctly, the Celts were pretty horrible ATS during much of the regular season. And they almost showed zero home court advantage.

my thunder number came from 2 years ago, just in case there was any confusion. thunder of 2008-2009 went 46-36 ats (23-59 su), as did the best team ever in basketball, the 72-10 (su) bulls of 95-96.

it's hard to predict what team will be beating the spread a profitable amount of the time.
