FOR THOSE who fear the "C bet" remember it hits 80% over the last 10 years. That is pretty damn profitable. You shouldn't fear the bet until you see the spread come out at least. I could see you fearing the bet if spread is like +4 or something for min. Then i would consider it a trap play and bet it anyways cause everyone will be on the lakers lol...

remember for this game, everyone will be on the lakers cause they are fighting to keep 2nd place in the west. wait until game time before you place your bet so you get the spread at the highest. at least that is my theory.

Also....the Lakers generally do not totally beat down weaker opponents at home,
they just play good enough to win by 6 or 7....just check their scores....

Last time Minnesota played at Staples...Lakers were favored by 17 but
won only 99-94...............

They reserve their best game against the elite teams.....

If a JM C Bet were to lose it would be on Minnesota lol. It's hard to risk it on Minnesota @ LA LAKERS.

Wallco is correct in saying just play the system. But as a life long Lakers fan I know that given the right spread the Lakers can let very bad teams cover even in LA. One thing I always did from the beginning of the season up until Xmas is take the Dog to beat the lakers at the half in LA (spread). For some reason for the last 3 years the lakers at home just don't play hard in the first half and somewhere in the middle of the third they remember that they are suppose to win and start scoring and playing defense.
In any case just follow the system.

This is my first year betting and I just went in following the JM system his way, with his MM system. Needless to say I lost my whole BR. But at least I was able to make some back with a better MM system that I picked up here, (that labby system is a life saver) also that chase 110 really kicked ass this year. Wish I had found this forum sooner.
I think this C bet will be my last for the season, but I look forward to a great baseball season with you guys. Bol to everyone.

I was thinking about this earlier, we may have to watch out for those shady teams looking for a better lottery pick next year. Don't know if teams tank on pourpose, but I always believed they did. But on the contrary, when I did my Chase 110 backtests, not many losses at all that I can remember at the very end of a season. Unless you started the chase with less than four games remaining. Which means until teams were getting down to their last four games, they were still covering per Chase 110 criteria. For this reason alone, I will play the season out.

Are you referring to JM NHL. If so, it only has one loss all season, Ottawa on Feb. 9th., over a month ago. If not, than I have no idea what hockey game lost. Not to mention, this is a basketball thread. Hockey plays are just kindly posted by JMD for your convenience, but open discussions should be taken to hockey forums. I think he will agree. If not, then screw me and I should shut up!
