seriously. i used to hate van gundy and welcomed jackson's insight, but van gundy has grown increasingly more entertaining and insightful (in a strange way) and jackson...holy fukk...if i have to hear "mama, there goes that man", "that's a grown man move", or "give me the choice between good offense or good defense, i'll take good offense every time"/"that's good defense, but better offense from (fill in the blank)" i might just throw up.

if they hired him to be my coach i'd demand a trade. can you imagine having to listen to that shit at your practices?

hahaha the catch phrases are so fukking annoying!!!!! van gundy used to be a little too over the top, but now he rides the line nicely. he's a quirky dude with a unique insight who occassionally gets fired up over little things other people wouldn't even think about and the shit is entertaining. meanwhile jackson has just turned into a clown.

I feel like I get dumber just by listening to Van Gundy. He's the worst national announcer there is. I often develop drinking games based on his commentary.

Jackson is refreshing because he'll give insights from a player's perspective and doesn't try to dumb down his commentary to the audience.
