I'm not claiming conspiracy. I'm saying the books know what they're doing with the number, and they'll set it so that you'll sweat it out. Lakers will win, but it won't be the blowout everyone is going to expect IMHO.

Really?

The Lakers are a different beast at home, which means if they need to make defensive stops, they'll get them. And they'll be ready to roll mentally here.

Suns still have to prove something on the road to take them in this spot IMHO.

When I look at this series, I see the Suns averaging 113 points per game against a team that I've been told repeatedly should be able to shut down the Suns offense anytime it wants. Gentry has made adjustments while Phil has fallen short (regardless of who was expected or likely to win Games 3&4, the Lakers -except for Kobe- were ineffective, period). The Suns confidence is through the roof right now, and the Lakers are frustrated. Bynum is hurt, and dragging the Lakers down with his lack of speed. The Suns are inside Odom's head. Without those two playing effectively, Gasol is getting double and triple teamed at times.

The Lakers -7 / ML (-350) is too steep because the books know that the Lakers are going to get hammered, and they're charging a premium for it. They're daring you to take the Lakers on faith.

So yeah. I'll put early money on the PHX ML and then watch what happens for the next 2 days.

The Lakers will win big. The Suns bench cannot play this well the rest of the playoffs. The games in Phx were close untilt he 4th quarter.

Lakers will play better at home but they are being exploited right now... With Phoenix in this zone defense, LA will be forced to hit their outside shots and we've all seen how bad guys like Odom and Artest have been from outside in the last two games. I think they make more of them from outside at home, but not sure if it will be enough to win by 7. Leaning a close game here with LA pulling it out late.

Don't be so sure about that. PHO ML and a larger bet on the points for me when it comes out here. If I change my mind closer to game time and buy them back, so be it but I'm not laying 7 with LA in this one.

I've opened it, just haven't deposited in it yet but will when the French Open is over. Too many good tennis props in one of the books here, I get a push no matter when a player retires and the lines are better, while the other has great odds and live betting. I don't want to have money spread out over 3 in case I want to make a big play on something.

I agree T-Wiz, and with a close game PHO could win with a Laker mistake or a last second 3. I don't think the Suns are going to go to LA and all of sudden forget how to play defense.

With Bynum hurting, Artest and Odom have to hit their shots. If anything I will just put a small play on PHO and hammer the over.

Lakers are going down hill fast because if they don't get the championship which they won't,, either the Suns or the Celtics will give them the boot

and they can't afford Jackson no more so he is going to leave for the $ and I say he goes to Chicago and reals King James in on his way

The Celtics will fool you. PHX will smack the Celtics, Celtics can't hang with a fast tempo team. LA is learning to play fast tempo through all 3 series'.

Suns offense is unstoppable- they would make the celtics look like frauds.
