Under's been getting hammered, and so have the Lakers. I'm not as surprised by the latter, but am by the former.

I think the correlation between a Lakers win and the Under is very strong tonight, however the same can't necessarily be said about the Suns and the Over. I expect a more defensive game tonight from the Lakers regardless of who wins.

Yeah, but neither team shot the ball particularly well from distance in the last game and it still sailed over.

            227 on a combined 14 of 52 3's? And now I should take under 220?

I have a small Lakers/Under parlay in play as part of a hedge, but otherwise don't plan to play the total in this game. Betting against the Suns ability to score at home is definitely an -ev bet.

                  total points

                  how about 201-210 points 5/1
                  211-220 points 4.1/1
                  221-230 points 4.1/1

If you bet one unit on the 211-220 points and 221-230 points you get a profit of 2.1 units if the total falls between 211 and 230 points, is this safe?
