Good job you dummy. Your team is already in over there heads and you motivate the other team even more.

Another example of a classless athlete who has an atttitude problem. Amare is a very good(not great) player but once again another example of an athlete using the wrong choice of words in a tough spot. Its in moments like these that the big boys speak softly and calmly and let there actions speak louder than there words. The suns are about to self destruct folks and we get to see it happen. Its gonna be fun.

Lamar Odom is a very hard person to motivate.

If Amare is not great, that means that no (current- not all time, not career wise) power forward in the league is currently great, because Amare is by far the best PF in the league

I watched Amare say that last nite and shook my head. I did not know that you could luck your way into a 19-19 kinda nite. Really just an idiot kind of response. Been best to just say.."Lamar had a good game, hopefully we can contain him better next game"

19 points you can be lucky with, but 19 boards? Not lucky, that's hard work. The best way to stop Lamar is to keep him uninterested. Amare's comments were just stupid.

Glad to see you missed the boat again bro. Great players dont talk like that. Being great isnt only about what you do on the court.

I think you are judging great in comparison to Kobe, Jordan, Bird, Magic. There are different levels of great. Those guys are pure greatness.

BTW, Shaquill Oneal would make that same comment as Amare in his prime, and Shaq has made similar comments to that throughout his whole career. I guess he is not great.

Shaq had a MUCH better resume when he made comments like that. Amare hasn't accomplished anything yet.

I don't get some of the statements you make bro. "Glad to see I missed the boat" What is that suppose to mean? You want me to fail?

There's nothing wrong with being wrong LakerBoy. Everyone knows that Shaq makes these statements throughout his whole career. Shaq is great. Amare being great can be debated, but it has nothing to do with the comments you make, it's all about what you do on the court.

Of course he had a better resume, but LB said part of being great is about what you say which is 100% untrue. It's all about what you leave on the court. I can name numerous athletes that have made comments like this and are still great.

Goat i posted an article about what Amare said and your first response was about me saying amare isnt great instead of responding to his actions and "other" comments he made in that article. Thats why i said you missed the boat. Failing ?

BTW what has the so great Amare done on the court in games versus LA this year?

Nvm, it just sounded weird that you say you're glad i missed the boat.

Well, it was a stupid thing to say. Amare is cocky. And you're right about that. Amare has had strong games against LA this year, his only bad game was the first game where he had 8 points and that was when he was adjusting to his goggles. Amare's offense is great, we all know the Lakers can't stop him for shit, his defense is really only solid when he's at home though.

I think you're underestimating the Suns at home. Let's see how it plays out.

Amare is just adding fuel to the fire right now with the way Lamar has been stepping up tonight. I am looking forward to Lamar having another "lucky" game tonight.

Agreed. KG is one of the biggest trash talkers out there, and I'd say he's a pretty good forward, but after the game you dont hear him saying that Howard got lucky scoring 30 pts last night.

Amare is a bum with no class. I hope him and Lebron go and celebrate their pity parties together when the suns lose too! They can both talk shit about how bad the Lakers' and Celts' players are.

KG, is playing like they turned back the clock on him. Some on the younger ones here don't realize what a monster that guy was in his prime. I def say he is a hall of famer. I read earlier the Celtics have never lost a playoff series when KG was in the lineup. He is a good player and his other attributes makes the team that much better.

BTW, I am glad the Celtics are going to win the series. Before the series started I thought the Majic was going to but I much rather see Boston vs LA Finals once again. Celtics could possibly beat LA, but Orlando would have been a 5 game rematch of last years finals.

Williams For real bro you were only 10-12 yrs old. How many had a keen idea of basketball at that age? KG came into the league when you were like 8 yrs old. My point is you are probably watching more basketball now than you did then.

I saw plenty of his prime years wasted in Minnesota. I've played and watched basketball nonstop since I was about 5 years old and I've seen plenty of tape from the 10-15 years before there. The youngest guys on here should be about 18 and even they have seen some of his prime years.

I can't for the life of me figure out why Goat is so in love with Amare.

KG was a beast back then. Something like a career 19 11 guy not to mention the other things he accomplishes that don't show up in the box score. One of the best competitors of my life time.

LB, I totally agree with your interpretation of amare's lack of class... IMO, that's why all elite basketball players SHOULD attend college.... These kinds of comments wouldn't be tolerated by a D1 coach! Amare didn't attend college! He chose to go right to the league and by pass college... I'm an educator/coach by trade ..... Just my humble opinion.

When this series is over, the celts will be 7-0 in playoff series with KG in the lineup. Can't argue with that stat. I really hope they sweep Orlando so they have plenty of rest for the Finals. I'm making sure I'm there no matter what it costs, wearing my "Beat LA" shirt.
