Topping Jordan is an unrealistic goal, but at 25, Lebron has every chance to get 5-6 titles on his resume and I think he will before said and done. I do not think Kobe or Lebron will be considered a better player than Jordan no matter how many titles they win, though. Jordon was one of a kind. maybe in our lifetime someone can get close, but I doubt Kobe or Lebron are either going to Ever be considered Better than a MJ. JMHO.
Michael Jordan did things that were un human like. he was an elite like no other.

LeBron seems really overrated to me. Yes, he is athletic and puts up impressive stats during the regular season, but what good is all that if he can't even get to the Conference Finals with a supporting cast that includes Shaq and Antwan Jamison?

Well when Shaq nowadays is the same thing pretty much as Perkins, except shaq has better offense.
Jamison got WORKED by Garnett all series.
SO saying "he can't get to the finals with that supporting cast" that's not saying too much. Especially when Rondo is leaps and bounds better than Williams. Ray Allen did better than Parker, and Lebron outplayed Pierce.
The Celtics players did better at every position except for the SF, and the center position being a tie.

I dont think Lebron's decision on where to go is based solely on the fact that MJ played on the bulls. thats a foolish comment cuz there are obviously 20 different factors in deciding where he chooses to play

Shaq is not good right now. He wasnt even good in his time with the Suns. Dont say Lebron couldnt win a title with Shaq because it wasnt the real Shaquile

Lebron to Chicago doesn't make basketball sense to me... He likes to, and needs to, dominate the ball.. he is a playmaker... Derrek Rose is his best with the ball, penetrating and finishing.. he is not an off the ball player which is what he would be a lot of the time with Lebron.
Not that Chicago will care if they had the chance to get Lebron but he would severely stunt the growth of Rose..
If Lebron goes to Chicago, it will be because he wants to share Jordan's legacy. He would want fans to mention his name in the same sentence as Jordan. There will be a lot more pressure on James to win a title if he goes to Chitown.
If he goes to Chicago its obvious he's in this game more for the fame than for winning because Chicago is not a contender with him. They would struggle to get the 2-3 seed in the east.

I'll say as a Cavs fan that I think he's less likely to stay after the way this year ended, but I can't see him going to play in New Jersey. If he can get the coach/GM to be who he wants, I could see him playing in the Garden in front of a packed house every night for the next 7-8 years.

anywho, no lebron won't be here next year....... there are a million reasons why...... but the talk show hosts like to spend 10 mins each on super conspiracy reasons involving John Calipari or Phil Jackson that he will come to chicago..... its all bull shit...

He's wearing MJ's number, so I'd guess that's only a minor issue.

Why does Lebron have to go somewhere? The Cavs are a coach and a piece or two away from potentially winning right now. They obviously can do it in the regular season; just need coaching to take them to the promised land. Going to NJ or NY puts him much, much farther away. Why do it?

Pure BS. Of all of the rumored places that he might go, Bulls almost without question give him the best chance to win, and to win multiple titles. Bulls would immediately the league favorite with him, and they have the pieces to make some other moves as well. They could package Deng and/or Hinrich and maybe others to bring in another big man, maybe even Bosh. Of the rumored destinations, Bulls have the most attractive pair of very young underpaid players in Rose and Noah to build around.

I don't know if it would be the biggest in terms of economics and money and lifestyle. I think New York might give him a little more of that. But, the city of Chicago has been starving for this franchise to turn it around. I mean how awesome was it to watch the Chicago Bulls in the '90s. Even if you weren't a fan you were and you know it. And then the dynasty crumbled to pieces. It has be a decade and a half since the Bulls made any real noise and this would be what the need to get over that hill. Jordan is the greatest player that will ever live. The only thing that will suck is every word will be a comparison to Jordan. There should be none. Let Lebron start his own legacy. Leave his own story. If he comes here you gotta believe the trophy is coming back to Madison Ave. where it belonged for so long. And this is all just hearsay, I have no idea where Lebron is going and neither do you guys. Gotta wait til freakin' July haha.
