He still hasnt learned the triangle offense 100% and I think hes over-rated and he is not the defender he once was. I am really sick of seeing him spot up for 3 as well.

Opposing teams aren't though My jumper looks at least 6 times smoother than his.

lol 6 what a weird ass number to chose.

Artest is definitely overrated, if Phil decides to put him on Amare at some point, he will get abused.

I thought 10 times might be a little over exaggerating

http://www.82games.com/0910/0910LAL.HTM His +/- puts him in line with what most people would rate him, I think; that is, he's a good but not great player. +/- doesn't tell everything, even over a long period of time, but a player won't vary by more than a couple points in either direction as far as his contribution to the team.

Nah, if my jumper is only 3.5 times smoother than Artest's then clearly I didn't work hard enough

Artest just doesn't fit in with the Laker's offense or he just lost a step... Looks a little out of place in the offense!

great man defender, terrible offensive player

in other words, a perfect fit for a team with kobe, gasol and bynum

Nope,He was basking in the glory while playing for the sacramento kings because that team had no class so getting 20+ points a game made him a popular guy,but his performance for the lakers has been anything but good.Wild 3 balls,no blocks,he has not even been a shadow of the player that he was with the kings. He still needs to learn discipline if he feels he can help lakers to another championship, but i have my doubts on that.

notice how artest goes for the 3s as often as rasheed wallace...but now artest drives up and have been scoring more lately...he has steped it up against the jazz in game 3...kinda a good thing once hes scoring hah
