At the age of 32 with 4 , he is getting very close to his 5th . I'd say he has about 5 years left of his career . Michael Jordan won his 6 at 35 . KB will pass MJ.

i think 5 this year is very possible, but getting another season should depend on how the free agent situation will affect the NBA, it the east somehow gets lebron/wade, wade/amare plus a couple of serviceable player LA will have a really hard time

possible, but not likely he will pass Jordan. Every year gets harder and with injuries and roster turnover it's not a sure thing. If Lakers win the next 3 yrs he could but he would be 35 yrs old with an againg Gasol also. Who knows, it's possible but not very likely. Chances of Lakers winning 4 straight titles would be a long shot and then he would be 35,,More than likey he will be beyond 35 trying to win titles but he won't be the same player then.

i think this lakers roster has it's core already set for the next few years, kobe, gasol, odom, bynum, artest this 5 will likely stick around for the next couple of years, they need some tweaking in their other positions in they want to win more rings, their bench is a big problem farmar and brown just don't cut it, they are too inconsistent, powell and mbenga , i'd rather have kwame brown coming off the bench for the lakers, he's a good bench player for 15minutes a night, but he sucks big time to become a full time starter

Well according to Tim Donaghy, only the NBA has the correct answer. LOL

See the 4th quarter of the 2000 Western Conference finals game 7 and the entire 2002 Western Conference finals game 6.

That was sarcasm. That would be 8 out of the next 10 yrs.

Lebron and Wade will dominate the next 7 rings. KD will not have his moment until these two place their names in the history books. Like Kobe fan said, depends on free agency next year. I hope Kobe gets 6 to end the Jordan discussion. If Kobe gets 6, you can't say Jordan was better.

people will start to argue about the FINALS MVP so if kobe really wants to overtake jordan he has to win at least 5 more rings to have at least 5 more finals MVP, although it's really a long shot
