Magic are already at -175 to win the Eastern Conference. A miraculous revival of the Cavs in game 6/7 would alter that slightly, but I think the Magic stay the favorites regardless of opponent.

Cavs (+100) / Magic (-120)

Celtics (+220) / Magic (-250)

True, but that has meant nothing in the Celtics series, and the Magic are very capable on the road. I guess it depends a lot on how Gm 6/7 come out, but I can't see the Cavs being favoured against the Magic for the series. Even a healthy & functional Cavs team isn't ready for the intensity that Van Gundy has been promoting for the first two rounds. Have you watched the late game peeks at his coaching? Up by 25 and he's still screaming at the players about making every possession count and to not let up on defense for one second.

I know if I see the Magic as dogs in the series I will hammer that line immediately. Kicking myself for not following Shoe's lead earlier...

If the cavs come back and beat boston there is no way orl will be favored starting on the road. I agree that it doesnt matter where they start but oddsmakers arent gonna make the road team the favorite to win the series. Just ask yourself- will Orl be favored in game 1 in cleveland?

All the more reason for a small series price. The Magic are more likely to win both games in Cleveland than lose both (most likely a split). I'll concede. Maybe CLE -125 at most though, as giving too much on the Orlando side is going to result in the books getting middled. As soon as Cleveland loses a game at home, they're in trouble. Be it in Game 1, 2, or 5

I also have to think that there are more Cavs futures out there than Magic futures at this point.

I'm one who believes in Orlando, so I was hoping for them to play (and bounce) Cleveland. I won'y lay the 3/1 that Boston is .............would have loved to have gone Orlando -130 or so , maybe less, against Cleveland. Maybe less, as Clevela nd would have had home court. I am firmly convinced that Orlando would have bopped the Cavs.
