Atlanta knows they are done. Orlando has won 10 straight games now, 6 in the playoffs. Joe Johnson is the worst 1st option in the league. I'm a lifetime Atlanta fan and I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole. They could just not show up, hope is totally gone and that is huge.

Then again they could win the game, they are playing at home where they are 3 times better than on the road.

Yes, if you must play at a decent size bet, i would put a dime on it instead of 5 dimes. If it wins, you will still be happy with a dime, if it loses, it will only sting a fifth of what it would. 5 dimes just seems too much for this coin flip of a game

You shouldnt do this for the simple fact that you are going against the hottest team in the NBA right now. Not saying ATL isn't the play, but you don't risk 5 dimes on a team that has been thoroughly dominated by its opposition thus far.

Regardless of how you feel about the play its just poor money management. Its all a grind and this is how you lose big and can make it very hard to just get even again. I am personally on Orlando and have them in some parlays as the last team and I don't plan to hedge them if that tell you anything about how I feel about Atlanta. I'd much rather take a live wager or 2H if need be, but I really think the Magic get another win here and quite possibly sweep Atlanta.

There are a few keys to this game, you saw in in this series that Howard has stayed out of early foul trouble. He is also taking it to the basket at will. The rest of the team in on fire, Nelson, Carter is hitting a lot of shots that he didnt hit in the series with Charlotte and they still swept them.

Your situation reminds of a similar one last NFL season on another forum. A guy claimed that he knew the St Louis was going to beat Minn and he put a lot on it, either the same as your thinking about or more. Everyone tried to talk him out of it for days and he stuck to it. Myself and almost 99 of the public that week took the Vikings and won.

If there is another really solid rule to follow other than good money management, its DON'T PUT LOTS OF UNITS ON BAD TEAMS!! Just don't do it. If you think there is going to be an upset, like I did last night in the PHX game at +300 then take it for a small bit don't put 40% of your bankroll on it.

Anything can happen and this is not even a good line, most place are +120 - +130 to take a team that has a very slim chance of winning today, those are terrible odds on Atlanta.

I haven't lost an NBA play all week, and my streak would be 1 month, but I lost 2 games in between that were plain ridiculous, I'm going with the Magic here like I did the first two games..they are simply too good and big for the Hawks. The fact that Atlanta is home will just prevent it from being a blow out, but the Magic will still come out on top in the end.
