Line opened at -4 and hasnt budged at all. I see a large majority on Orl- why isnt the line moving?
So who has taken the Magic so far?

I agree 10000%.
I was going to lock CHA in last night at +4, but I figured I'd wait to see the number go up because the public would be big on ORL. The fact that it's still at 4 has convinced me to go even bigger on the 'Cats.
I'm taking the over as well.

Charlotte ML has to be the play. Orlando will get the memo to end the series in Orlando.

Line actually opened at -3.5 at LVSC and most onshore books. Pinny opens lines much later than those books. Best to check vegasinsider for line movement. This really just looks like regular movement to me.

There is no memo. Orlando is trying to finish this tonight. Any team that can get a sweep will have a massive advantage going into the second round with another week of rest, and guys like Carter and Jason Williams need it.
Larry Brown doesn't get swept.

Pretty sure. Seems like a classic case of offshores fabricating either RLM or no movement because a ton of people are on one side. Stephen Jackson doesn't deal with losing well, Theo Ratliff is starting at center and the Bobbies have no backup. You also have the case of a team whose leader is not so much about winning, but about dominating. Dwight Howard should take over this game and really, the Magic love to burn themselves out early into the playoffs.

Larry Brown has dissapointed me in this series. His team has shown little emotion and they just chucked up 3's at the end of the last game and gave away a game they should have won. I know he is in over his head with Orlando having a big talent adv but come on .

I expected more from CHA. I figured Captain Jack would step up and he hasn't, and after Game 1, Wallace hasn't shown much.
I'm still backing them tonight, though.

That last game though Orlando should have destroyed the Cats. They were chucking up threes and playing like shit, but you always have a chance to win games if you play defense. And if you play defense, I don't care what team you are, I'm going to give them a chance to stay close on your home floor. The Magic were dissapointing last game, they should have taken advantage of that bobcats vulnerability and didn't.

Why would Captain Jack step up now? He immediately asked to be traded from GS as soon as they started losing. He didn't step up as soon as the Warriors got down against the Jazz in 07 (virtually disappeared, actually). He cringes when the pressure's on.

There's no pressure here. They're down 3-0 and no one's expecting them to do a damn thing now. That's why I expect S-Jax to come through tonight -- because it will again be too little, too late.

Here's the thing guys: this is a forum of mostly sharps. The trap is that we're thinking that although the Bobcats have played like sh*t and are a 7 seed going up against a much deeper, much more passionate team, we want to take the other side because of line movement. It's the playoffs. Vegas expects us to look at line movement. You have to pick winners regardless of what the percentages and movements are. This happened with an over in a Suns game earlier int he playoffs, and it should happen again tonight. By not moving the line or by making fake RLM, it's encouraging the sharp late money to go on the Bobcats. They're miserable and done..I think they lose big tonight.

I disagree with this statement, b/c many times pinny has the line out for the NBA playoff games the night the prior game has been played.
Also LVSC simply gives a send out, and the Vegas books use that as a resource, not a definitive opening number. I looked into the Vegasinsiders site, and non of the books opened at -3.5.
Here is the lack of movement @pinny

Captain Jack is nothing.
The reason for the lack of line movement all though the public is heavy on the Magic is simply you can't give the Cats anymore points on their home floor. +4 at home is already pushing it, they're trying not to make it a plus 5 or 5.5 because chances of this being a close game are highly likely.

You can if it is all one sided $ wise which it is all Magic by moving it 1 to 2 points to -5to6 but the books are doing nothing about it..............

The strangest thing here is how the line didn't budge all day, really.
Stuck at 4 (-110/-110) at The Greek, Bookmaker, etc.
