LAKER_CRAZY'S ( PLAYOFFS PICK FOR TONIGHT 18/04/2010)

1) Boston Celtics Vs Miami Heat ( Boston Celtics -4.5) : This is my first pick for tonight and frankly i am one of those people who like the heat to cause an upset over the celtics,but not in game one of the series.The celtics enter the playoffs after an inconsistent regular season. They were 27-27 since Christmas, the only one of the 16 playoff teams that was not at least seven games over .500 in that span. They also dropped seven of their last 10.But they’re a veteran team and that experience should help.I expect the big 3 to put all their experience into play and put up a good show on their home court tonight.The heat is hot but the time is just right for them to cool down a little now.Take the celtics with the handicap.Good luck . PLAYER PERFORMANCES

2) Jermaine 0 Neal ( Over 12.5 points) : I like what i see for O neal here as he is going to be an important part of the heat set up and if the heat has to do well,he will be an important part in playing the support role to wade here.The line is set reasonable for him and he should do enough to get over the set Line.Good luck ( 1 unit play)

3) Ray Allen ( Over 17.5 points) : An integral part of the boston line up,he is one of the big 3 for the celtics and his experience to the team is of utmost importance.After having a reasonably dull regular season where we all saw him aging and looking tired,i think Ray has it in him to give one decent shot to the playoffs here and it should start from tonight.A good line for allen and he should go over the line.Good luck ( 1 unit play)

4) Michael Beasley ( Over 13.5 points) : This talented kid personally gave me a bad time in the regular season with his irregular performances but i think the time has now come for him to show his metal and the books have set a decent number for him to help him get over here.Good luck. ( 1 unit play)

5) Dwayne Wade ( Under 6.5 assists) : I think D wade will take the onus on him for scoring and i dont see him giving many assists in this one.The under is a good call her.Good luck ( 1 unit play)

I will try and keep updating my spreadsheet but as i am doing MLB as well,i may be slow,Any of my tailers if they do find time,just keep a record for me for the playoffs and that includes everything from handicap,totals & player performances.

LAKER_CRAZY'S PLAYOFFS PLAYS FOR TONIGHT ( 19/04/2010)

1) Oklahoma City Thunder Vs LA Lakers ( OKC thunder + 7.5) : Surprize Surprize....Considering i am a die hard laker fan,it is a surprize that i am backing the thunder to cover the spread in the first meeting between the two teams in the playoffs.As we all are aware that the thunder has caused a few uncertain moments for lakers whenever they face them and i am backing that trend here.No i am not saying the lakers wont win tonight but this will be a close game,at least the thunder have more than reasonable chance to cover this handicap.Watch this dark horse closely. Good luck ( 2 unit play ).

2) Player performances : Kobe Bryant ( Over 28.5 points) : Kobe will be bringing his A game tonight and there is no doubt that he will be raring to go here.Good luck ( 1 unit play)

3) Player peformances : Russel Westbrook ( Over 15.5 points) : A key member of the thunder offense behind durant,westbrook will score close to 20 here.Good luck. ( 1 unit play)

4) Player performances : Ron Artest ( Over 10.5 points) : I like this line for artest.He is a reasonable player and there is every possibility of him going over here.Good luck ( 1 unit play)

5) Player performances : Jeff Green ( Under 5.5 rebounds) : I dont think he will clear up the boards so many times here.Good luck. ( 1 unit play)

i couldn't watch this weekend's plays, but when i look what you played LC and how your plays played (today and yesterday) i wonder if rules of NBA changed? maybe they are now similar to European?

NBA can be cruel son....and that is exactly how i would describe on the thunder failing to cover by half a point with a clear look at a three and layups....anyhow i am myself wondering whatsoever is happening to my players....may be the rules have actually changed....ROFL

LAKER_CRAZY'S PLAYS FOR TONIGHT ( SAN ANTONIO SPURS VS DALLAS MAVERICKS)

1) San antonio Spurs vs Dallas Mavericks ( Game totals Under 194) :With the Spurs and Mavericks meeting again in the playoffs, it’s easy to be lulled into thinking this is the same old, same old—two in-state rivals who know each other so well that the winner will simply be whichever team makes the most of its opportunities. I think this goes best to describe both teams.I feel this series is going to one of the closely fought ones and picking a winner is going to be hard here so i am staying away from the handicap and taking a liking for the under here in this game.I say both teams will be looking to grab the initiative and they will take their shots using all the clock they can.The total here should play itself below 190.Under is the play.Good luck

2) Player performances : Dirk Nowitski ( Under 26.5 points) : Dirk is leader for the mavs in offense,however this being the first game of the series,i dont actually expect him to come up and start shooting the daylights out of the spurs,i think he will get close to 20 but will finish below the set line.Like the under here.Good luck.

3) Player performances : Manu Ginobli ( Over 17.5 points) : Manu has relished and revelled in his role of being a starter and considering how he went about the business in the regular season,its hard not to see him going over 20 points in this one.I expect him to shoulder the responsibility and provide some offense to the spurs tonight. Good luck.

4) Player performances : Shaun Marion ( Over 11.5 points) : I have a liking for these small lines for good players and this again is one of them.Dirk is going to be heavily guarded but that also means that there is going to be room for marion to step up and get some layups,i like the line set for him and he should get over here.Good luck.

5) Player performances : Caron Butler ( Under 15.5 points) : I don't see anything easy for him in this one and he will have a tough point getting through this set line.I like the under here for him.Good luck.

6) Player performances : Richard Jefferson ( Under 5.5 rebounds) : I don't see him grabbing the board so many times with others around,Under is the call here.Good luck.

7) Player performances : Dirk Nowitski ( Over 7.5 rebounds) : I don't see dirk scoring a lot tonight but yes i do believe that he will clean up the board more than the set line for him.A good play.Good luck.

8) Player performances : Jason Kidd ( Under 9.5 assists) : A number just too high and doesn't fit in my scheme of thinking here.I think kidd will not have anywhere close to 10 in this game.Under again.Good luck.

Hello guys,

I guess cutting down on my plays really helps me,and it was glad to get a 2 unit win by half a point,whereas i had lost just a couple of days back by the same half point which again proves the fact that if you cap well,this game will always level out in the end.I know thatg my strength i.e the player performances haven't really lived up to the top billing but i am sure things are going to get better soon enough.For now i am glad to be back to the winning ways.Posting an early play for tonight.Good luck.

LAKER_CRAZY'S EARLY PLAY FOR TONIGHT ( 20/04/2010)

1) LA Lakers Vs Oklahoma City Thunder ( Game totals Over 189) : This has to be a good play for me right now.Agreed the first game was a struggle offensively for both sides where the lakers managed a paltry 87 points compared to the thunder's 79,but that should and will not be the case tonight as i don't see the lakers putting up disappointing numbers for the second time running.Kobe missed free throws the last time around and artest could not buy a 3.While Kobe's struggle's can be attributed to the fact that he has an injured finger,there is no such explanation for the rest of him.I see an aggressive game tonight from Both kobe & durant as both of these players play a very important role in the offense of the team.The line set here is pretty reasonable and i see this game playing in the high 190's. Good luck on this.

2) Boston Celtics Vs Miami Heat ( Game totals Over 179) : The line is set rather low and reasonably so because the last game hard played over 160 combined points and KG will not be a factor in tonight's game.Frankly that gives me all the more reason to play the over here as KG brings a lot of emotional energy in the boston team and of course he is good at defense too,i am not trying to make a statement that one man can actually make a big difference,but then yes one man can actually make a big difference.I see the heat pushing the ball more and taking it to boston early in the game through Wade,beasley & O neal.Boston will b Starting Perkins oR Rasheed in place of KG,but i expect a better night from Ray allen who was below par in the last outing.I like the over here and this game should play itself in the late 180's.Good luck

3) Boston Celtics Vs Miami Heat ( Miami Heat +1) : I really like this line a lot and i would love to track the movement before tip off.I see this as a very even contest tonight,probably more in favour of the heat with KG out.Agreed that it is a boston home advantage and so on but the heat will be spurred on from the last loss and will be looking to put a much better show tonight and i see no reason as to why it wont happen.D wade will lead it and i expect beasley and o neal to do well here.This one will be a close one but the heat will edge boston out in the end.Take the heat with the handicap here.Good luck.
