Allright now thats a little better. WNBA 3-8 -7.90 If I can just hit a good percentage over a week or so I should be able to get in the green and outta the red as far as WNBA is concerned.

I am still undecided. I am right now leaning Under but the Lakers always toast me when I take an under cause they give up points, especially when that atrocious bench is out there, Vujacic wasn't bad on the defensive end he has great footwork on defense but hes still hurt I believe. LA is overrated defensively Kobe is an excellent defender and Artest is a good defender (overrated defender though) and outside of that they are average defensively I dont care what anybody says. Phoenix has gotten better on Defense and I like Grant Hill guarding Kobe. Both teams also have been sitting home for a week so I look for a sloppy start and I think it will take them a couple quarters to get in rhythm similar to Orlando today. Also Stoudemire is gonna have Gasol working on the defensive end much harder than Boozer as Amare will attack the rim with ferocity and I think Gasol will be slightly worn out come half way through the 4th slightly hindering his offense. I probably will take the Under but we will see.

Bynum being limited due to his knee should be the key here. He slows down the offense, for his post up plays. His defense will be missed also.

Nevertheless his status is up in the air, b/c this is the NBA where bettors dont know someones OUT unitl they are tippin off and you see them in street clothes on their Blackberry betting against their own team.

Jackson will try Gasol, Odom, and Artest all on Amare this series. None of them will work. bro- ppl on this site don't realize how good Amare is. They think Nash makes him when in fact Amare is by far the best player on the Suns. 30% of their plays in half court (whe nthe pick and roll is not working) is Amare iso on the elbow and he goes to work. And at the end of a shot clock- the Suns want the ball in Amare's hand, not Nash's.

If Phil doesn't double team Amare in those iso's, he's going to look like a straight up fool.

Seattle shoots 37 FT in a 40 min game. They score 81 pts on 23 made buckets. LA out scored them 8 points in the 3rd Q and only managed 9 pts in the 4th. So WNBA 4-9 -8.95. Glad there is no WNBA for a few days, shit is awful.

+1 Amare is the best PF in the NBA and it isn't really close. He's this generations Shawn Kemp. Kemp was a sick jump shooter in his later Seattle days just like Amare.

                        Kemp is a nice comparison.

Amare is a much better offensively player than Kemp- while kemp was always better defensively. I think Kemp only averaged over 20 1 season in his career, Amare has done that already nearly every year of his career... Amare is much more explosive than Kemp (he's probably 1 of the 3 strongest players in the league), but Kemp was lighter on his feet, had better footwork than Amare.

Also, kemp was a better ball handler than Amare. Still, Amare is much more offensively skilled and always will be, Kemp never really had a legit post game, his jump shot was solid (same as Amare's about). Kemp was a better passer though.

Overall, Amare will go down as the better player when he retires, with much better stats. Amare is a possible future MVP in this league, and will be a top 3 PF for the next 7 years.

Kemp was an amazing Dunker- him and Dominique. I don't think I've ever seen anyone posterize people like Amare and Kemp did/do on a consistent basis.

I don't like when people live in the past though. I'm old-school, but I recognize new talent when I see it and I'm not afraid to let go of the past. I bet 95% of the ppl on this forum that are over 30 years of age would try and argue that Kemp is a better player.

No I wouldn't say Kemp is the better player. Amare is clearly more intelligent and driven. Kemp took a nosedive once he went to Cleveland and got big money. Amare will work on his game til the end. I'm not over 30 btw and I'm not living in the past but Kemp was such a stud in the Finals series with Chi. Couple of thoughts - PPG can be skewed due to Phx pace, also GP was quite the ball dominator and shot taker in comparison to Nash looking to facilitate first. Also Kemp played in the era that was much less offense friendly. Just an apt comparison is all and illustrates your point that Amare is underrated.

Nah, I seen both of them and I would take Amare over Kemp. Kemp was one of my favorite players growing up and I even wore his#40 jersey on my teams but I ain't a fool. I think Amare is a more complete player than Kemp. Amare is more of a professional as well. Kemp was super talented but he had many, many issues that took away from what he could have been and even cut his career short. Kemp, was a boozer/stoner/whore chaser. I think Amare is serious about his business.

Kemp was one of my favorites but Amare is a better scorer. As far as Amare getting an MVP, that will never happen as long as he has Nash on his team. Dwight Howard will get an MVP before Amare. And Amare is not the best player on the suns either, if you took Nash off that squad and put in an avg PG they wouldn't even make the playoffs. You could put an avg PF in there and they could still get it done, not nearly at the level that they are now but would at least be a 7 or 8 seed. Did you see game 4 in SA? Nash was out there looking like Rocky Balboa hittin big 3's and takin it to the rack and finishing with one eye for hell sakes to say that Amare is the best player on the Suns is simply false. Nash is the heart and soul of that team, a back to bak MVP. 3 months ago Amare was nearly traded for hell sakes and not because he was the best player on the team. I will give him credit cause after he didnt get traded he has had phenomenal numbers but I couldn't call him the best player on the team, no way.

Amare is the best player on the Suns- sorry. Nothing you say will change my mind. I've followed both players closely throughout their careers. Amare was the Suns MVP this year BTW- they chant MVP when Amare goes to the line, not when Nash is on the line.

Nash didn't deserve either of the 2 MVPs he won. You can't take 1 of those guys of the Suns, if you take Amare off, they will never make the playoffs, take Nash off, they also wouldn't make it.

Amare wasn't only the best PF in the league this year, he was a top 4 player in the entire league since the all star break.
