I am leaning Hawks/Bucks Under 190.5. The last two games went over which usually is a good sign for the under in the next game. The total opened up at 191 and with the public pounding the OVER the total dropped to 190.5, very small reverse line movement but still noteworthy. Dick Bavetta is reffing this game and there is no referee in the NBA that is better for UNDERS than Dick Bavetta. He is 42-22 (66%) for the UNDER this year. Also, this game could very easily be a blowout which could mean very few points scored in the last 6 minutes of the fourth quarter. You won't have to worry about those stupid fouls and free throws at the end.

Hawks, I think Atlanta is a decent 1st quarter bet but I'd like to find a -2.5 line. I know TheGreek has -3. Atlanta won the 1st quarter by 8 and double digits the other 1st quarter at home and I expect more of the same. Atlanta is very consistent, they dominate at home and suck on the road. They have been this kind of playoff team for a very long time already.

Honestly I am not really feeling anything tooooo much tonight. The Hawks 1st quarter and Under in the game would both be very small plays if any at all. If I see good total movement I might take a stab at the under. I will probably stay away from Hawks 1st quarter, not 100% on that yet tho.

You think so SJ. I do agree in principle that the Lakers want to end this series now and put away these guys but okc-1.5 tells us that the books believe in okc one more time or are they playing mind games?

I strongly agree in principle also as the Lakers sent the message last nite and it was recieved, but what does the league want?? It will be good to see Durant and Westbrook run up and down the floor one last time this season and get all the calls they want at home and watch there crowd go nuts again. Who has a better HC than OKC right now? That place is better than college HC.
The Lakers message was sent loud and clear last nite, but they were also allowed to play there game and got there confidence and comfort zone going for them. I don't think it will be the same at OKC.. Besides, the Lakers have game 7 in there pocket and a game 7 would produce huge revenue across the board if OKC thrashes LA one more time on there HC.
The pick makes sense ST but the other circumstances I present is what to look for. I mean, it will be no fun of the Lakers thrash OKC on there HC would it? Nobody wins from that. An OKC thrashing would be good to create a little drama amongst the TV audience thinking OKC has a chance but in all reality it is just a revenue generator for both teams for TV money, Tix, concessions, merchandise,,, oh and city revenue for lodging and dining.

Lakers +1.5 LOCKED HEAVY
Mind games for sure. Lakers is the play. They won game 1 and game 2 and should have won game 3. Kobe threw game 4 on purpose to spite Jackson/Artest for calling him selfish. I don't care what anyone says I know for a fact Kobe through that game. He NEVER goes 15 minutes to start a game without a shot especially when his team is down double digits and I watched that game and he passed up on TONS of shots in that 1st quarter.
Read this article and if I don't convince you maybe this will
The Lakers have now figured out OKC. They got Kobe on Westbrook now and Artest knows Durants ever move. Gasol and Bynum dominated last game and that will definitely continue. If Lamar Odom plays well this game 6 could very well be a blowout. I personally think it goes down to the last two minutes and the defending champs show why they are the defending champs. The Thunder will choke late as this is their first close out game. OKC is suppose to win since they are at home and that pressure will bee too much for them to handle in a game 6 with their season on the line. Look for Harden, Ibaka, and Green to all play below their standards.
Home court advantage is going to be OKC's only hope and that won't be enough against the Lakeshow. I think of game 6 last year where Denver had the sickest home court advantage I had seen in a while. Lakers went there game 6 and ended it.
Lakers opened up at +2 and dropped to +1.5. I won't be surprised to see them at -2 come game time.

Hawks -3 1st Quarter LOCKED
Atlanta has been very consistent in the playoffs the last couple of years. They are dominant at home and come out hot and blow teams out a lot. On the road they are just downright terrible. The Bucks are horrible on the road and have come out cold the two 1st quarters in Atl. I expect more of the same from both teams. I think Hawks win the 1st quarter by 5+ points. I am going light on this play, only a 0.5 unit.
