I can't hate on him too much for that, given virtually every NBA GM was on record saying they'd do the same (though would it have hurt to do a few in-depth conversations about work ethic before drafting him?)

With that being said, he's been total garbage with his decisions ever since. Trading Chauncey was unforgivable, and we kept Sheed at least a year too long, if not two.
