I think they were getting bored of playing crap teams in that stretch that they finally lost to the Knicks.

Now they have that swagger back, just PERFECT TIMING with the playoffs coming up

yes, lets forget about the fact that the Mavs havent done anything the past few years, while the Lakers have won multiple titles, and the Cavs have the best record in the league

also lamar odom is the best bench player on either team, and in the playoffs where benches shorten and starters log heavier minutes, deepness of bench doesnt matter

Mavs are a good team but i dont get why threads like this come up...they are clearly not in the top 3 of teams in the NBA

Playoff series usually extend to 7 games in tough matchups.

In that scenario MAVS have the clear advantage over any other team

i know he is aging now that's why the lakers decide to sign artest to help kobe defend opposing perimeter players to reduce the toll on his body, i still think lakers can still win it this year, they're not gonna be beaten in the western conference

lets see how having a deeper bench gives them advantage...lol maybe the Mavs have a deeper team 1-15 but that doesnt make them the BETTER team...you think JJ Barea and Roddy Beaubois will see more than 7 minutes of playoff time? get real, this team might not be better than Denver, and you can argue that Utah is better but thats JMO

wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a 7 game series between the lakers/mavs if they met, of course the lakers would win game 7.

theres no question it would be competitive, and it can easily go to 7

but i dont see how anyone can say with as much confidence as the guy who created this thread that the Lakers ARENT the best team in the West...its like he totally disregarded everything thats happened the past few years, and disregarded the fact that they have the best record in the WC by far

No worries, Blazers will get SWEPT easily in the playoffs.

Until Oden gets healthy, they won't be a threat at all in the playoffs.

oden doesn't contribute enough to be a huge difference maker, they have camby to hold his own in the playoffs, and ROY is a good player are you watching the nba?
