oh, and Atlanta is 27-7 at home.
San Antonio is 16-16 on the road.
The only way San Antonio could've been favored in this one was if Joe Johnson and Josh Smith suddenly developed the flu and it was announced they wouldn't play.

Bobby is a good kid so we let him get away with a post like this and plus he is young, I think 17.

Atlanta tough at home. Crawford and the fact that Smoove doesn't take outside shots anymore have made them a force this year. In the playoffs at the end of the game Crawford and Johnson will be guards, Smoove and Horford on the inside with Williams roaming the baseline looking to spot up. Tough to stop.

I put money on Atlanta, not looking so good right now. I hope Atlanta steps their game up soon...

if spurs win SU everyone in this thread who questioned bobby will look like fools.
San Antonio is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Atlanta
San Antonio is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing Atlanta

Taking everything into account, ATL "should" be favored. That doesn't mean I'm not putting $ on Spurs with the points AND on the ML because if you watch how these 2 teams are playing, you'd know where the value is on this one.

funny how this thread seems to have some merit after the first quarter.

"why is ATL favorite"
Because Vegas gives away free money every once in a while and tonight was the case.
Hawks SHOULD NEVER have been favorite. I think the line should have been Spurs -4, to say the least.
Yet Hawks bettors still got sucked in

Absolutely not.
Because anyone with a clue about how spreads are set knows why Atlanta is favored.
As I said, that doesn't mean Atlanta will cover, but look at the damn facts.
There's no way in hell San Antonio could have been favored in this one.
If bobby said "Bet San Antonio tonight! I love them getting the points!" that would be different.

I can't wait for the "Cornell and Northern Iowa should have been favored!" threads.
