Public usully stays away when the total is extremely high. So extreme totals may offer very good betting opportunities. If line is too low, don't think it's piece of cake. It's low for a reason maybe Vegas knows something that you don't.
Majority of my NBA Plays (%95) are Total Plays. I don't mess with side bets often, very rare. The tricy thing about totals is, Vegas' lines are not meant to be predictons. If total is 198, it doesn't mean that Vegas is expecting 198 points to be scored. So?
To create equal action in both sides of course. In fact, you're not betting against the bookie. It's joe public, other bettors that you're betting against. Bookie is not a gambler.
I'm expecting a high scoring game in Raptors vs Warriors game. Probably 234-236 points.
You can check out my NBA Thread for my other NBA Plays.
Warriors vs Raptors Over 227½
