I don't understand why a casino would ban someone who is winning or losing, especially AI. I would take all of his bets and his money and his women if he is silly enough to lose them.

He tried to cheat a casino out of 10 G's that he didn't win though. Seems pretty reasonable to me for that casino to ban him. Not sure about the circumstances at the other casino's...

That happens so often. The money comes so quickly to them and they don't manage it well.

Multiple NBA sources say Allen Iverson is facing alcohol and gambling issues that have derailed his career and threaten his post-basketball well-being, Stephen A. Smith of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports in a column published Monday.
[+] EnlargeGary Dineen/NBAE/Getty ImagesAllen Iverson played only 25 games for the 76ers before stepping away for the season.

According to multiple NBA sources, there is widespread concern that the four-time NBA scoring champion, who left the Philadelphia 76ers in February to deal with his daughter's illness and will not return this season, "will either drink himself into oblivion or gamble his life away," Smith reported.
Iverson's gambling problem is serious enough that he has been banished from casinos in Detroit and Atlantic City, N.J., according to Smith.
The report comes as Iverson is dealing with significant personal problems.
Iverson's wife Tawana filed for divorce on March 4, the same day the Philadelphia 76ers announced that the All-Star guard would not return for the rest of the season. In the divorce filing, made at Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta, Tawana Iverson said the couple's 8½-year marriage is "irretrievably broken" and sought full custody of the family's five children, child support and alimony.
Iverson, who played 25 games for the Sixers this season, returned to Atlanta in February to be with his family and deal with an undisclosed illness affecting his 4-year-old daughter, Messiah.
Smith, who has covered Iverson closely for years, wrote in Monday's column that Iverson needs someone with "the ideal combination of compassion and toughness" in his life. And former Temple coach John Chaney said that person is John Thompson, Iverson's former college coach at Georgetown.
"[Thompson] is the one guy who'll have a chance of slowing this train wreck down, who could wrap his arms around Iverson and have an impact, because clearly it has not been done," Chaney said, according to Smith. "But there's still this one question: Will [Iverson] listen?"
Iverson started the season with the Memphis Grizzlies but only played three games, amid disagreements over playing time, before announcing a short-lived retirement. He signed the 76ers as a free agent in December, making a tearful return to the city where he spent his first 10½ seasons, won four scoring titles, earned the 2000-01 MVP award and led the Sixers to the 2001 NBA Finals.
Iverson was traded to the Denver Nuggets in 2006 and played for the Nuggets through 2008, when he was dealt to the Detroit Pistons.
Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

I was part of a Marketing company that took a long distance company from nothing to the 4th largest. It got bought out for $4.5 B after 7 years.

I was a big baller back then, front row basketball, boxing, etc. flying to the Bahamas every few weeks, Ferrari, Benzo, renting yachts, private jets and shit.

The IRS fukked me and California drained me. Fortunately, everything I own was paid for years ago. I have a couple of companies that do well today but nothing like back then.

When money comes and goes so quick, it is very easy to get caught up gambling. When the IRS hit's you, it's a kick in the gut for them to basically take what they want, you really don't want a paper trail and trying to get a large hit at the tables is a huge lure. Before you know it, you've blown through a shit load of money.

I have a bunch of friends that was in the same boat. Thought the money would always keep coming but not recognizing that it was drying up. My expenses got so out of hand that I didn't even know it for over a year. Shit hit me all at once and I had to cut everything with a quickness. Girls... cutoff, family with hands out.. cutoff, trips... cutoff. Basically became a hermit for a couple of years (depressed as hell too). Basically started over about 9 years ago.

My mentor use to always tell me... "making a million is easy... Keeping it is hard as hell". I know full well how these guys go broke in what seems to be a matter of minutes.

Most guy's think they are invincible and that they will play forever. Very few actually realize that there is a limited playing window. I was at a high end car place called the Toy Store in Ft. Lauderdale one day, years ago. I was buying a car and Leroy Hoard came in the same time as me. I already knew what I was getting and was going to pay but Leroy came in raw. He bought a Red Lambo in about 30 minutes. I went back to the place a few days later to set up shipping my car and my guy at the shop said "look at this"... It was Hoard's W-2 coming in on the fax. I've never in my life seen so many dam zero's on a W-2. My guy told me that Hoard like the Red Lambo that he ordered a black one too, sight unseen.

Most guy's, Rich or Poor buy on emotion. The rich guy just can buy more stuff. Money makes you do stupid shit. I can't even count the amount of high class pussy I flew first class all over the place. Juggling woman alone is expensive as shit. I know several guys that spend $20k - $30k a month on different woman, keeping them housed/clothed, etc. They not thinking about saving, they're having too much fun.
