    •• PACERS/LAKERS•• Over (54.5) 1ST QTR ••
    SBR Record 25-10-3

These two teams ROLL when they meet. The Lakers played tired last time,
and still Bryant scored 36, including a game-winning fadeaway jumper with three seconds left that lifted Los Angeles to a 121-119 victory Jan. 9, 2009. Bryant is averaging 28.1 points, 5.6 assists and 5.5 rebounds in Los Angeles' last 10 home games against the Pacers.

Kobe Bryant is still trying to find his shooting form after being sidelined five games last month. A matchup with the Indiana Pacers could help the two-time scoring champion get back on track.

Bryant, among the league leaders with 27.5 points per game, is averaging 21.3 on 42.7 percent shooting in four contests since a sprained left ankle sidelined him Feb. 6-18. Bryant missed 14 of 17 shots in Sunday's 95-89 victory over Denver, scoring 14 points while handing out a season-high 12 assists.

Also, when Indy decides to score, they put them in as good as anyone...
I think this will be one of those quarters.

I usually have a 50 pts. cut off... (over 50 i stay away from Overs)
but this really is only 27.5 each... Lakers can easily do 35 when they want.
    Kobe should be hot.

**as well as 1 or 2 players from Indy...

to me, this adds up to OVER 54.5

I used to cap 2nd halves, but found that my win % was less than 1st Quarters... also, it has to be rushed, so many more mistakes are created as some stats are overlooked...

i didn't look at this game, but generally i find that if a team covers by 66% of the total Spread in the first half, the opposite happens.... but still capping 2H is really tuff. I respect those guys who do so successfully GL buddy

PS> i eventually dropped everything except 1st Quarters.. because i believe it is better to be 4-0, than 5-1 (due to the vig)... my record for 1st Quarters (only) is 11-1

            Cheers to all!
