I'm not buying this. Seems too obvious. General public thinks the Pistons still play good D, which they don't (not like they used to).

Yer, I hear you, thats why I started the thread, its to obvious for going under, to much of a warning sign here. Thx for all input not gonna touch the under play, but Boston -4.5 could be a play as long as it stays and doesn't move to -3.5!

Just because the line is moving against the under doesn't mean the over will cover. Raptors vs rockets over under line yesterday moved from 212 1/2 to 214 1/2 and it still went under and there are numerous games like that all the time. I'll be taking the under tonight 188 since the pistons play good d at home and the celtics also play good defense as well on the road. Throw in the slow pace of detroit and shaky scoring of the celtics i wouldn't touch the over with a 20 feet pole.Comment -
There has been excellent in this feedback and speculation shows that the thread is leaning towards the OVER.
I have to tend to disagree and state the play to be a UNDER at 189.5. Although Paul Pierce coming back from his thumb injury will be an injection of points on the offense for BOS, I fail to see Detroit who is the second lowest scoring team to score any points against the top defensive team. Points will be a struggle for Detroit and as much respect as I have for Rip/Stuckney/Villeneua, There game has gone south and I just cant see that many points being put up in the paint with Glen David/Perkins/Garnett at the helm.
In additon, following trends, the last 6 games played in Detroit, combined average of point is 170. Boston has a hard time scoring points in Detroit for some reason and I believe the trend will continue to follow.
Plus give the upside that BOSTON is on the road, the Total ahs gone UNDER in 8 of 12 of Detroits last 12 games at home and the total has gone UNDER in 5 of BOSTON'S last 6 games on the road, I will look for this trend to continue.
The only upside for the OVER is that the people's champion LB has a tip on the OVER which will have to make you reconsider, however his edge is based on the movement of the line which he is correct in calling as it has gone UP to 189.5 from an open of 188, however percentage correction of this attained value to assess his bet is only to be 3.5% edge in favour of his call, thus this weighed option is not a validity bet in my opinion and would require to hit 192 for LB to make the call an OVER.
However, that's just my two sense and im just a SBR Rookie, I have more overdraft views, but BOS to win this easily with a call of UNDER is my call.Comment -

Its actually alot higher then that, I havent updated as my records only reflect to February 7th. I will update the last month when I have time, just a tad busy. What can I say I love sports and cause im in Australia our time zones have more selection of choice, in the mornings we do american sports, in the evenings we do Tennis/Soccer/NRL etc...Comment -
