Yeah, I'm thinking they sweep or win it in 5. Orlando doesn't look like they have the will to close out these tough games. Watching them down the stretch, they look so confused. They need Vince to have a great game to win and right now, he's not looking like he has it mentally. When he doesn't have that, his abilities are irrelevant.
Bos game 3 isn't the strongest bet, I'll admit. I just have to ride with it based on games 1 and 2. Boston isn't even playing entirely well on offense. And in no game has all 4 of their big guys played well. That's why I'm backing Bos until Orl can show me otherwise. But I'm open to your thoughts: Why are you on the Magic?Comment -
I agree about Vince mentally. But I think he's heard all the bullshit about Turk and how Magic would have been better off with him (which is completely untrue) for the last 4 days. Everyone on that team looks up to Vince. I think he's going to shut down Pierce tomorrow and hit huge shots down the stretch to redeem himself.
Rashard Lewis has done absolutely nothing this series and the the games have still been neck and neck. He's their money guy from 3. When his 3's start droppin, everyone's 3s start droppin. Wario is a master of preparation too, these days off the Magic are studying film all day all night. If Lewis gets going the Magic are a completely different team. We both know Nelson is outmatched, Dwight can take Perkins 1 on1, and Carter will be solid for the most part.
When Lewis can't knock down shots he can't get anything going because Garnett will never bite on the pump and it gets real tough to get anything off the dribble. In that 2nd Q, the only thing stopping LA is a very average zone defense. This 2x is banking on Phil figuring out that zone at halftime. Their size (bigs who can shoot) and outside shooting should be able to destroy that average zone D.Comment -
