Is Kobe capable of putting up 43/15/13/4/2? I don't think so.

Everyone's gotta remember, the Cavs just played that game without their 2nd leading scorer.

Huh?? I hope you don't mean MoWill? He made a couple of nice 3's but he got torched again and again on defense. You saw Mike Brown had to sit him down after he couldn't guard anyone. I told you about Mo and Shaq. They did that same play over and over again and Mo got worked. Gibson didn't do much better either though.

It isn't a coincidence that Mo comes back and the team forget's how to play defense. 106 points by the Nugget's in regulation.

Cav's have problems at PG. It's a huge defensive liability. Shaq shouldn't have been on the court near the end either. His missed free throws killed the team tonight. Mike Brown once again showed why he has a long way to go. Terrible lineups in crucial moments.

And that's why they won't beat the Magic: Mike Brown. Lost it last year, will lose it this year.

I'm talking about the new toy, Jamison.

Mo's D had nothing to do with it. The Nuggets PGs combined for 8-21 shooting for 20 points...far from the end of the world.

The game was lost on pick and roll defense without Shaq in the game. The rotations got messed up and Martin got far too many easy ones. Also, Jawad had a very poor defensive game, and where was Moon? It wasn't Mike Brown's best effort, but far from his worst. Between having Z gone, Jamison not in yet, and Mo returning he had lots to juggle tonight. Think about it, if Shaq just shot his normal 50% from the line this game was over in regulation.

Not the worst loss in the world here, especially to one of the top teams in the West.

I find it amazing that when Mike Brown has been doing a great job for the last 10-20 games dealing with all the injuries, one loss gets him thrown under the bus. I used to hate the guy, but he's made big strides this year. Not having Z or Jamison to put in down the stretch hurt him.

With the effort the Nuggets and Cavs showed tonight both would have beaten the Magic by 15, so shhh.

No, but he is capable of putting up very impressive numbers, and also has some rings on his finger. Once again I don't think Kobe's better than Lebron at all, but I just don't think Lebron is as much better than Kobe as you believe.

The main reasons I value Lebron so much more than Kobe is his passing (15 assists tonight and averaging over 10 a game since Mo went out) and his leadership/charisma which I think everyone seems to underrate the importance of. Simple as that.

Agreed. But I still think Kobe is very good. Lebron's on a whole 'nother level though

Orlando will not beat Cleveland in the playoffs, they might lose in an earlier round before they face Cleveland. Anyone who doesn't see that is delusional!

Hard to say if Jamison will be the 2nd scorer for Cleveland. I think MBrown will still rely on Mo even though I don't think he should.

Your throwing out stats of PG's but your obviously not watching the game. Mo's lack of defense (and Boobie) allowed not only the PG's to get off but so did Kenyon Martin, Nene and Birdman. The Cav's had to rotate which left Martin open time and time again at the top of the FT to hit wide open shots or the rotation allowed guys to come flying into the key for rebounds. The Nuggets had 16 offensive boards. Mo's poor defense led to JR Smith getting a wide open 3 look as well.

Mike Brown has got to figure this out. It's a noticeable problem. I like Cleveland when they go big. I'm not sure what happened to Moon tonight but Brown is good at relegating guys on the bench when they could provide help? Brown is a wild card. He has been horrible in the playoffs. He's been out coached in every important series. Nothing points to him getting any better. He will be the reason the Cav's don't win a title. I use to be a huge Brown supporter but he's a paper coach. Paul Silas was probably better. No way can he outcoach the elite guys in the league.

Obviously we don't know if Jamison will be #2 yet, I was just making the point that we were without Z and had an AllStar sitting on the bench who couldn't play.

While there were certainly lapses on defense, I don't think all the blame rests on the PGs. When you guard a guy like Chauncey on a pick and roll you have to go over the top, which puts pressure on the forward to hedge and the center to rotate. The hedging was weak at times and the rotation when Shaq wasn't in the game was completely mixed up. That's not Mo/Boobie's fault. I was surprised we didn't see more of Delonte at PG since Chauncey is a large guard.

Regardless, it was very clear that Mike Brown has been planning ahead and did not put any extra focus on preparing for this game, so be it. Lebron still almost managed to pull it out.

I'd put the Magic as minus $1.50 favorites to win a 7 game series currently if the series started tomorrow.
