I wouldn't bet against Nate. People love the underdog and his vertical is unreal. He's jumping higher this year then ever. He's also very clever and I'd bet he's going to have some tricks up his sleeve. He can make average dunks look incredible.

Rumor has it, however, that DeRozan has a Michael Jackson “Thriller” tribute up his sleeve, so it sounds like he’s both athletic and creative. Plus, he wants it bad.

“I grew up watching dunk contests,” DeRozan said in his raptors.com blog. “This has been a part of my NBA dream for a while.”

when nate is in the dunk contest it's almost a sure pick for him to win because of his height, the judges usually give him a high score even though it's not spectacular
