    The nba is a complete joke! Without the cavs and lakers this league would be nothing. The players (like dwight howard, chris bosh, carmelo anthony and many more) don't give a shit about the game only money! Are you going to tell me the magic can't beat the terrible pistons.(give me a break) people might as well just flip a coin to bet these teams they suck! If you want to make money just bet on the cavs and lakers moneyline sure you might have to put up some extra but still better than 50/50 like betting on these other teams. They might as well skip the rest of the season and just let the cavs and lakers play for the championship now!

    IT was an obvious trap game.

    I have a Detroit +5 ticket sitting in my hands.

    Orlando on the road, playing B2B, and dont forget their recent road struggles.

    You are a rook, period.

          Yeah your right Hugh. Using a $100 bettor as an example...I ran some numbers betting on the moneyline.

          LA Lakers (ML) win +3720.00 (36 wins)
          LA Lakers (ML) loss -2255.00 (11 losses)
          Net= +1465.00

          Cleveland not as good. They had a 1000 ML loss to Chicago early in the season. Nontheless you are still in the plus.

          Cleveland (ML) win +3860 (37 wins)
          Cleveland (ML) loss -3680 (11 losses)
          Net= +180.00

          It might be something to look at especially with the Lakers. I just wouldn't lay huge lumber when the moneyline is so high because you never know.

              The home court advantage in the NBA is larger than in any other American sport.

                  These numbers are all wrong.

                  When the Lakers started the season, they had multiple games as double digit favs. So the ML was -800 and up. In other words you would be winning $8, and less every time they won.

                  The books know people are looking for easy money, so they dont give us a chance at it.

                  Besides, when was the last time Lakers were Dogs in any matchup, except for on the road against Cavs, or Celtics.

                  Once again you are a rook for believing those numbers.

                    If you often play to favorites ML in NBA (or other USA leagues)
                    certainly your profit is (-). only a beginner bettor makes

                      you sound like an amateur that lost a few backdoor covers. there is no chance you would make money taking either team on the money line as they are both such public teams the vig would be too much

                                  Sorry but your the rookie here. These numbers are right. I took them all from scoresandodds closing lines and did the research myself. The Lakers were multiple favorites early in the season but WON so you win $100 each time using my $100 example. The had lost 11 games on ML totaling -2250 when this was posted. They never lost a game as a double digit favorite. Go back and look at your numbers, your wrong. Also they had won 35 games as a favorite= 3500.00 and one win agaisnt Dallas as a +220 dog. That is why they were +3720 at the time. Next time do some DD before throwing out blind remarks.

                                  I don't bet favs on the ML anyway. It's a suckerbet but these are the numbers.
