Nj: these guys are losing by single digits lately.. and after a loss against Detroit, im sure they have some plan laid out for this game. although they might be tired from playing a physical game against boston.. oh well..
Ny: Cleavland has been winning in double digits lately.. however.. i think this will be a close game... every time james is out, cle will have a hardtime in offense. ny is a scoring machine.. it will be able to score points and hang on..
Mia: no noah. Miami is due for a really good win
Mem
houston: phi cant sustain winning streaks.. houston will be break them if they play good D
sas: after the loss against portland.. these guys are itching for a win
okla: ride them till they're hot

Jay, we will get them next time. I had a 2 good days so far, except for my $80 parlay today that would have netted me another $1208! Friggin' Cavs was up by 24 in the 3rd quarter and suddenly stopped playing for some reason.

I've been analyzing games closely lately, specially those ones that are under the radar and I've been finding some dogs to bet on and taking the ML at that! Last night was the 76ers and the Bucks, tonight, it was the Wolves turn. I noticed that this young Wolves team are playing inspired lately and they matched up well with the equally young Grizzlies team. They are jelling at the right time and Kevin Love, who just came off the injury list, gave them a big boost in the middle. Their court general, Johnny Flynn has been unselfish and scoring on the side as well, plus the other guys like Corey Brewer, Ryan Gomes, and Al Jefferson are delivering the goods too.
BOL on your future plays and I'll try to chime in my .02 cents from time to time. I'm too lazy to create my own thread and keep track of my wins and losses. I usually just take it as it is, not smart on my part to keep track, but who's counting?

We only have 2 games today, Sunday, 2-07, so we don't have much to play on Jay. Here's my take for today's game:
Toronto (-8.5) is an easy pick, almost a , I hate to say the word but it really applies here. The Raptors will have had a 4 day rest before today's game, while the West Coast based Kings will technically play at 9 am Pacific (12 noon EST), or at least that's what their body clock will be telling them. Add to the fact that the Raptors, who are always a tough out at home, are expected to get Hedo Turkoglu (fractured orbital bone) and rookie DeMar DeRozan (ankle) back in the lineup tomorrow. As for the points total players, I'm leaning towards the UNDER (O/U 215), and it needs lots of help from the Kings side to get it past that number.
I'm definitely taking Toronto, and wait for your take Jay on the O/U for this game...
The odds are not yet out for the Magic/Celtics game but I saw an old and tired Celtics team against the Nets the other night. The Magic on the other hand, got caught looking ahead and lost to the lowly Wizards, that should serve as a wake-up call for them not to take ANY game lightly. I'm leaning towards the Magic and the UNDER on this one, I'll wait for the odds to come out before I put my bets in.
I might even take the ML on the Magic if they happen to be the dog!

I waited until 6 am (Pacific) for the lines to come for the Magic/Celtics game, so that I can parlay some games, no luck. I decided to take the Raptors (-8) straight bet , and then parlayed it with South Florida (+8) and Syracuse (-4.5). There's not much action today except for the big one...

Thnx Jay! Been on a sweet run lately. Do you play college hoops too? I don't know diddly squat about it, and don't follow it. What's your take on Charleston College (-7) bro? I'm also leaning towards Dallas (-4), the Warriors are running out of warm bodies there...

I know cecbo. I almost always shit on my pants when I have some coins
in play on the Mavs, but we have limited options today, unfortunately.
I will probably play them tonight. Nothing big, nothing big that might hurt my bankroll.
Let's just say it's just for sh*ts and giggles! Do you have any games you like today bro?
Anyways, GL to your plays tonight!

im dallas on this one too.. but gs is due for a hard fought win.. monta is playing well of late.. but he doesnt have a supporting cast.. i'm also leaning on dallas because it just lost to a very bad team minnesota.. and i dont think they will let another let down.. with a lot of rest from dallas.. they must've changed something in their chalkboard.. so im guessing.. dallas will be a more focused team tomorrow.. but hey GS will COME OUT and play..
pick: Dallas!

I forgot to tell you why I'm leaning on a Mavs play tonight cecbo. The Mavs seems to play better on the road and there are rumors that Corey Magette will not play tonight. I don't know if that matters because the Warriors beat the Mavs at home without Magette while only using 6 players!

revenge game for dallas n thats all i can say. i feel dallas will eat them alive! though dallas has been a fading material in the last 14 games. they covered the ats only 2 times. and gsw has been having a great january. even everything showing it to golden state side im leaning on dallas. im sure the dallas mavs have thought of something aftr the terrible loss at home with minnesota. This team is better in covering games on the road than at home and after that minny upset, this is a nice little spot to take them.Mavericks are 15-11 ATS on the road going 6-1 ATS on 2 days rest. Warriors aren't shabby with a 13-10 home ATS record but so-so with an 11-12 ATS on 1 day of rest. Warriors were able to cover 6 of their last 10. Warriors has only covered 2 of the last 5 games and rides an 8 game losing streak.
PLUS WITH NO COREY TOM ACCORDING TO SOME HANDICAPPERS....

ADVANTAGES:
This team is better in covering games on the road than at home and after that T-Wolves upset, this is a nice little spot to take them. Mavericks are 15-11 ATS on the road going 6-1 ATS on 2 days rest. Warriors aren't shabby with a 13-10 home ATS record but so-so with an 11-12 ATS on 1 day of rest. Warriors were able to cover 6 of their last 10. Warriors has only covered 2 of the last 5 games and rides an 8 game losing streak. Both teams played each other twice this season already.
DISADVANTAGES:
dallas bad shooting
dallas being a fading material this year 2-12 ats in the 14 games
dallas inconsistency
dirk seriousness only starts at 4th qtr
GREATEST ADVANTAGE: KEEP THIS IN MIND
REVENGE GAME!!! PLAYOFF MATERIAL GAME GOING ON HERE
I EXPECT A 10+ POINT WIN BY DALLAS
DALLAS COMING OUT WILD AND BIG AFTR THE LOSS AT HOME WITH MINNY
ACCDG TO HANDICAPPERS NO COREY!
DALLAS TO COVER!! I WOULD STILL TKE THE SPREAD TILL -6.5

Kabayan!
As for your Orlando game, it's a bit tricky. The lines are now -9.5 for Orlando. NO's Collison made up for some of the lost points that the team used to get from Chris Paul, BUT the bulk of his points comes from the shaded area, it will be few and far in between and the big reason will be Dwight Howard, who's manning the paint for the Magic. Add to the fact that the Hornets are not that good at defending the 3s either, and Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter, JJ Reddick, Matt Barnes, Mickael Pietrus, Jason Williams, and to some extent Anthony Johnson and Jameer Nelson could have a field day heaving a lot of balls from the rainbow territory. I don't know how will the Saints win will affect the Hornets' play tonight either, it could be a good or a bad thing too.
As for Orlando, they are on a b2b and just had a rough one against the Celtics, they might come in flat and they might not cover or lose outright, a replay of the Wizards game. I'm sure you'll agree with me that the Hornets is a notch better than the Wizards (understatement), although it's like comparing apples to oranges because both teams are set up differently. Also, it was almost a couple of months ago (Dec. 11) the last time the Hornets lost by double digits, against the Knicks (96-113) and that was 31 games ago.
I'm not touching this game with a ten-foot pole, I don't even have a clue about the O/U for this game.
BOL with your play/plays tonight anyway!

With both Kobe and Bynum listed as "doubtful" tonight, I'm leaning towards the Spurs (-4) tonight, add the the fact that the Spurs who are well rested here than the Lakers. The Spurs may be the road team here but they didn't "travel" to get to this game. They were already here when they played the Clipps a couple of days ago, while the Lakers had to travel back after that game against the Blazers. No dog in this race though, I will just watch and enjoy the game...

i just got home too like 2 hours ago from school.. I'm still studying.. graduating this year.. 6 years? thats a long time! Well it hasn't really changed much just the weather, it gets hotter every year. Everyone's fussing about the election and all. We do have a new casino, resorts world..haha
my bookie closes around 12.. anyway ill give you my picks and you can read them when you wake up..
My early picks are :
Chicago: I think that this will be a pretty close game. But i have to side on Chicago on this one. They have something going for them after the win against miami. i hope that boosts not only their confidence but their mentality and chemistry as well
Phi: After the last meeting with Min.. They would have a really large revenge factor going for them. And i think the team is getting its groove since they are now winning. I think Phi is underrated, they just lacked that little push.
NY: Sac won the last two meetings by double digits. They almost own the Knicks! But the kings are getting +5?? I'll go Ny this time. I bet they've prepared a game plan for this one.
Det: HARD HARD decision. but i think.. like i said before. detroit is due a good game. i think this is their chance. but hey not so sure on this one.. cmon prince! gordon! hamilton!
Oklahoma: i'm riding them till they lose a game...
Utah: Lac is having a hardtime adjusting to the new coach

I hope you like my picks today Jay, here it is:
Wolves +6.5
I see these young and hungry Wolves to hang around against the equally hot 76ers to keep this game close until the final buzzer. I won't even be surprise if they win this game outright. I love the way how this team play, and even though they're just playing for pride and as one of the spoilers, they play with passion and are hungry for some more scalps to add to their collection.
Jazz -4.5
This one looks like a no-brainer, smells like a no-brainer, and feels like a no-brainer, then it must be a no-brainer! They say that the Jazz are a homer and don't usually play well on the road, but they have the Blazers (106-95), the Spurs (105-98), the Mavs (111-93), the Hornets (110-102), the Spurs again (90-83), and some other teams beat at their respective homes. They are on a roll and jelling just before the All-Star break, and I will NOT try to over think this game.
My leans for today are the Bucks (-8) against the Pistons, plus the UNDER (O/U 189) for the said game, but that was just at first glance, I still have to review this match-up thoroughly though...
