8 does seem to be a big spread on the road. The Wiz have lost 3 straight at home and you would expect them to come out and give it their all against the champs in the last night of 6 game home stand. They have two days off following this game before going to New Jersey so if they get down early their should be no reason for them to throw in the towel. On the other side, the Lakers have not started this 8 game road trip the way they would have liked having lost 2 of their first 3. Im looking to stay away from this one.

I love the Lakers personally and have been a fan for as long as I can remember, but they always seem to make an unknown player on the opposing team seem like an All-Star! I wonder who that will be tonight on the Wiz? In the end, Lakers win, but may not cover...especially if they have a big lead and our bench will allow the score to creep back down towards the line.

I'm thinking that with this long road trip and another game tomorrow, Phil may rest the starters after building a big lead and let the subs play more in the 4th if not the entire Q... Thus, allowing the lead to evaporate back closer towards the line, if not under it.
