I bet my buddy in LA every year for the past 5 or so years that the bulls 72-10 is safe before february. I get 2-1 odds since I only take half the season.

Kobe should never be taking 31 shots when he is hurt. Whether you call it selfishness or poor coaching, this game proved that the Lakers have some issues to fix before the playoffs.

is your buddy a moron? Lol can I place this bet too? I live in Chicago so maybe I'm little biased towards this subject....but it will never happen folks....this is imo, the greatest sports record of all time and wont be broken for a very very very long time, if ever. Watching Bulls highlights from the 90's sometimes make me tear up, seriously. Such a glorious time for all of Chicago

Not really, Michael has sort of always been a jerk.

I love when people say this, michael jordan was the biggest rick who ever walked the earth since 1992. Hes a winner, thats it. Its like Tiger, people are pissed hes a prick. These guys operate on different levels.

I use to love watching MJ and the Bulls back in the day. NBA on NBC. Yeah, Jordan is notoriously known for being a jerk. This guy will tell you all about it.

The 72-10 record will not be beaten in the modern era of the NBA. There is just not enough incentive for teams to go that hard every single game and players will always be rested close to the finals etc.

They only way is if for some reason two superstars like Kobe and Bron or Durant and bron get on the same team, and are healthy the entire season, and the coach cares about reg season record a lot. VERY Unlikley at best.

The Bulls were out for blood that year. I haven't seen a team since that Bulls team that played to win night in and night out. Guys nowadays pace themselves and don't bring 100% each and every game. That, along with more parity in the league these days between teams, will allow that record year to stay unreachable for some time...

You gotta remember that Kobe came off the bench primarily for two years and wasn't the go to guy for another 2. If you take out those 4 seasons his average is roughly 21.8.

What's your point williams why are you trying to dispute fact. We all know you hate kobe. What about when kobe was the only guy for 3 years I'm sure he shot more then. I brought up a statistical undisputable fact and you try to put a spin on it come on guy leave it.

???? I'm not disputing it, I'm saying it's apples to oranges. Kobe's average shots per game is watered down by the first for seasons of his career when he wasn't the go to guy on the team. Jordan was always the go to guy. Kobe's number in the last 8 years has been exactly where Jordan was.
