um cavs have lost 3 times to cats this year- are they pretenders too? teams have off nights the magic have been on fire they were due for a bad game

Me being in orlando I watch them and they are a good team and I think they make it to at least the conference finals again but they just can't seem to win a damn championship. I think they might have a better chance now that we got vince but who knows only time will tell.

I know man I had the same feelin about todays game kind of like in the mavs game but went against gut instinct because magic was playing at home afterall

My assessment that they aren't contenders isn't based on this single game. I mention it after tonight, only really to say that I'm not at all surprised at the loss.

The Magic won't make the Finals, and they should be happy if they even see a Game 6 in the Eastern Conf Finals. That's only my 2c of course, but I'm willing to bet anybody who thinks Orlando will get past Gm 6 of the ECF.

I guess it depends on what people define 'contenders' to mean. If an appearance in the Conference Finals = contenders, then they are contenders. But if it means having an actual shot at the title, then no, not in my opinion.
