Biggest adv that Boston had in 2008 was Powe(big game 2)Brown and Posey. They were replaced with T Allen and Sheed and Baby(full time now).
Lakers have the exp under the belt now and will be alot less nervous and wont start on the road.

For me the biggest issue in this series that Boston will not be able to overcome and that has been there biggest weakness all year long is there inability to rebound the basketball. They are a terrible rebounding team and the Lakers are a great rebounding team. Second chance points will kill the celtics this time.

The other key adv that the Lakers have is there ability to shut down 3 pt shooting. Bos was on fire from 3 pt land in 2008 finals but LA has geared there defense to defend 3 pt shots and Bostons offense isnt good enough if they arent hitting 3 pt shots.

Bos has some very physical players and will present some issues for the Lakers in the paint but those players are slow and the Lakers will get the rebounds and move the ball upcourt and push the pace on Boston.

Thats my very simple analysis of this series. I am not an expert just someone who states his opinion.

Gotta give it to you, LB, you started off like a house of fire -- and that analysis looks solid.

As a C's fan, I'm really bummed today and frightened about this series. I knew the Lakers' length was gonna be a big problem. If we're gonna get dominated in the paint, the series might not even last six games.

However... I have faith in Doc! Let's see what he can come up with to steal one in LA.

In this case it was the right call because the books fukked up on the original #. They made it too high but generally a 5 pt move is retarded in NBA and NFl. During the NFL season this year they moved a pats/titans game from 42- to 37

because of the snow. I took the over 37 for $800.

59-0 Pats final.

To all the boys who picked LA - nice work.

LA looked good in the first half and even better in the 2nd. Boston might win 1 game, or 2 games at the most, but it's definitely gonna be rough one for the C's.

What do u see changing in game 2? Couple made 3's by Ray? He's actually having to waste energy guarding someone who can make u work. Do u see Rondo all of a sudden getting to the paint and scoring over 3 7 footers? Besides a change of venue, I'm leaning Lakers again. Boston may cover, but I don't agree with u "no-brainer" statement .

I think Boston is the play but it would take a lot of guts to go big on them.

When Kobe is on Rondo he will SHUT HIM DOWN. I will laugh at all the people who have said Kobe is not the best 1 on 1 defender in the world after he shuts him down this series (when he guards him, that is).

i agree with paco....if boston wins a game its gonna be at home not in la i dont c much changing lakers gonna keet forcing foul trouble and no one can guard the mamba.....if anything the no brainer would be the over on the game

Yeah I saw it- they all hop on the bandwagon after they beat "King" James and Orlando, now they had 1 poor game and everyone is off. These types of gamblers will get be hurting all finals.
