#19044LB, Im on the Lakers big glad you are on their side too. I think they are done bullsh1tting around and want to get some rest for the next series. As much as it pains me to say, we all saw what a motivated laker team can do the Thunder. The Thunder just do not have the bigs to compete with the Lakers.
Hopefully you'll buy off that Jazz money cause i like the nuggets hereComment -

#19047I don't believe that is the theory with all the series. I knew Mavs were done, Spurs were 1 of my biggest bets all year at 12x. Lakers series is the one that's drawing all the money. No other series has that vibe like KB vs Kd. I like the Thunder @ home even without the Stern factor
No this is like the Denver series last year where the lakers figured out Denver in game 5 and toyed with them in game 6 at the pepsi centre. This game wont even be that close.Comment -

#19051Lb you said you like the jazz and the lakers. You really think that vegas is just going to hand out money tonight with how large people are favoring both of these teams. What about the celts hawks series a couple years ago? Doesnt this series remind you of that? A powerful team that can control anyone of the games if it wanted to but waited till game 7 and blew them out by 40Comment -

Let me ask you a question? Has vegas ever handed out free money? Public plays can win as well.
Eh bro just take Jazz and Thunder and see what happens.Comment -

#19054I'm a Thunder fan but LA will finish them off tonight. Mark it down.
That being said, I hope I'm wrong but LA is the better team when they come to play. Their is a reason the Lakers are the defending champs and #1 seed.
Too bad the Thunder got the 8th seed of they might have been able to do some damage.Comment -

Paco, I don't feel the vibe brother. You know your shit bro. OKC is good and I have enjoyed watching them. They have proved there value and hung in with the Lakers admirably for 4 games and even thrashed the Lakers when Kobe was sulking about criticism. OKC has a wonderful homecourt and are a good young team that is fun to watch, but there time is over now. The Lakers are not playing anymore games tonite. This will be a fight tonite, but in the end OKC will fall. Too much LA in the end and LA needs to prove a point tonite. Up until now LA has proved nothing. Sure they thrashed OKC last time out but that was at home against a young team in the playoffs. To be great you have to make statements on the road in probably the worst environment for an opposing team to play in. OKC will be rocking and crazy tonite and not for the weak of heart teams. There are not 3 teams tops that could win in OKC tonite but the Lakers are one of them and will do it. I think LA needs to prove it to themselves because they have yet to really do something and this would be huge momentum going to round 2. If LA doesn't win all they proved was they were able to beat a young 8th seed because they had homecourt advantage in this series.
I usually never bet LA but tonite it is to appealing to pass up. Tonite is about principle in my opinion. Lakers don't want people talking shit about them only winning because they had HC advantage.
Good Luck to you either way.Comment -

Vegas never gives away free money. Nobody is saying this is free money. The books win over the long haul and are not shortsighted to this one nite. Vegas does not win everyday in sports sometimes they lose, but they have a built in advantage that allows them to win consistently over the long haul amsongst many other factors.
Also Vegas is responsible for producing many lines on many events. They are not fighting a war on every lined game.
Vegas lost last nite, but it appears they opened again today. They will not be beat to death if it goes against them tonite. There pockets are deep and will be back tommorow and then the next day.
Anything is possible but there is no good reason to fade good reasoning in the playoffs. That thinking is more productive in the regular season when the games don't mean as much and you don't know who is bringing there game. The best teams going tonite is the Lakers and the Jazz and are in posistion to closeout. You either play them or pass.Comment -

your welcome. your thinking is not wrong. It is just more productive during the regular season. Me like 97% here am on Jazz and Lakers. I am not proud of that or happy, but it is what it is. Anything is possible. They both might win or both might lose. I have seen so much stuff in my gambling career I am never shocked. I played the right teams in the right situation tonite. It's not free money. The Jazz could win but not cover due to some BS late. Who knows the Lakers could shit the bed and lose as well. OKC has already proved they can beat them at home. You just have to make the correct play and live with it and I am confident I am on the correct side with both games. That doesn't insure victory though as I mentioned anything is possible because both teams could shit the bed.
Also Public % are not as important this time of the year because the real dumb squares have been finished this season for quite some time. The only people left in the NBA are the very damn good or people that follow somebody that is good.
My opinion is LA will be in a dog fight all game with OKC but there experience, poise, and gamplan will grind on the young Thunder late in the game when the creme rises to the top. I see Lakers winning by 4-6 points.
Jazz, are the better team playing at home in a closeout game with the much better coach. The Nuggets will have to play a terrific game tonite and be disciplined and coach well also. To this point they have proved incapable of doing either. I think Jazz will win comfortably, probably DD.Comment -

#19068Imagine Joe Public, he bets $100 on the Jazz -6 tonight, he cashes. Tomorrow he takes Cavs -7.5 and he may lose his winnings, next day he puts in more cash and takes the Yankees RL which he may lose ... bottom line. The house always wins!!!

#19075I really think your right unless Westbrook somehow gets an outside shot or harden goes off (neither which I see happening). Moving Kobe onto him and just containing his penetration completely threw OKC off in game 5. Westbrook is used to blowing by smaller defenders, not getting sagged off by longer ones, and he simply does not want to shoot that outside shot. Amazed it took Phil 4 games to figure that out but ultimately the call that changed the series.Comment
