Remember though that when you've been betting on Portland at the end of games, they had one of the ultimate closers in the game to seal the deal. We'll see what happens but it sounds like your leaning Port for the game.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#13796Yeah I know. That's the only thing that's holding me back from pulling the trigger so far. But I'm worried if I don't do it soon OKC's just going to keep climbing. -3.5 already here and this book's normally slow compared to the ones y'all use. #13797Portland may win the 4th, but who's going to close the game out for them this time? There's no way Miller gets a close out in game 1 now that grant has figured him out. Unless Fernadez steps up and hits a few big shots?

#13799thats the million dollar question who will replace Roy, the rose garden is not to be messed with just like energy solutions arena.... I think your gonna sweat this one out till the final minute.... I would play suns 1h and portland 2h, I really cant see phx closing them out in the 4th, I really really cant, the rose will get to the suns..... The arena is more of a six man than the public will give credit making suns a very publis play. If you see 65-35% on the money with no movement your fukked
what makes this call even worse is they just got blown the fukk out, portlands a good team and rose and co will be out for blood...but will that be enoughComment -

If anyone is out for revenge it's the suns. They're pissed that they let game 1 get away, where they played miserably and Portland played great (up until the end) and Suns only lost by 5. Did you see the way Portland closed that game out? That's what having no Roy will do to them in close games. Pretty much almost blew that gameCause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#13803Suns are probably going to be a huge public play but I don't care. Squares got to win some of them. As far as Portland being out for revenge? Not very many young teams like Portland play with revenge in their mind. Besides Camby Howard and Andre, Portland is a bunch of young guns that can't be trusted. Roy was their bread and butter in the 4th, and Miller could take over at any time but not against Grant. I may cancel the bet if I'm not feeling it later.

I know you have the goods about matchups Goat and I just want to add this is on the NBATV network. Might mean nothing to you, but the road teams have owned that network for quite sometime. I like the Suns be it public or not. I have not pulled the trigger on it as I would like to see how things shake out closer to tip.Comment -

#13805What im saying is that if you see the line not adjust to the proper % of money on the side you already know whos holding the weight. As far as young guns not to be trusted that is a factor for a team on the road not a team at home with the crowd behind them. That line movement before tip will tell you everything you need to knowI concur

We'll see; Vegas isn't buying the suns on the road against Portland who's been great at home all season, that's why its still a pk, they think the suns can't play defense which can be very misleading.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#13815Thanks for the tip, I do look into those things occasionally. The only thing keeping me from not canceling this bet right now is the fact that it's not like Miller and Aldrich played horribly that last game. Gentry figured them out. They're such a predictable team without Roy and when Fernadez is slumping.
Also, it wasn't a playoff game but Suns was whooping Portland in Rose garden by DD and Roy brought them back by his offense. When Suns made the attempt to stop him he was facillatating thru Blake(at the time before trade) Bayless, Webster. They were on fire in the 4Q. It took a hell of an effort and some hot shooting, With Hill on Andre Miller now I don't see a repeat performance. Bayless was wide open because so much focus was on Roy and Bayless buried them. At that time Bayless was kind a unknown in the NBA.Comment -

Here's what I was saying to lb earlier, can the Thunder beat the Lakers tomorrow if they don't put up 100+ and run with it? I highly doubt it, they can't beat the lakeshow in a half court game.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#13818jazz 1h, over, probably agree, can they sustain it? D will averaged about 2.2 points per shot in the last game (that's unheard of) and had 14 dimes...too much billups guarding him not enough affallo.

I don't doubt you there, but I don't think they will have to. Thunders defense will lead to many transistion points. They almost beat LA in LA game 2 in mostly HC. Only Gasol and Kobe saved them. Nobody else can score for the Lakers and what are the chances Kobe shoots it well again? He has been struggling for weeks with his shot. That finger problem has been a bitch for him. Kobe and Gasol will both need to bring it for this game to be respectable. If Kobe has one of those 30+% shooting percenta nites were he goes something like 6-19 from the field the Lakers will be buried and that is what I am expecting to see come tommorow.Comment -

#13820I'm well aware of this game shoebox. The pace in the first two games has been completely different, the lakers didn't even care about that game they were walking up the court that day. If the thunder knocked down their shots and open 3s in the first two games, both LA games would have gone over.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

you think they will care if they are getting blown out? They will pack it in and save the energy for game 4 while you see kobe crying and bitching...Comment -

Dude it's scary how much we are thinking alike. I think Thunder take a nice lead and LA will pack it in and get ready for game 4. They ain't winning tommorow and the books know it and LA knows it. They will take the court, but it will go poorly for them and they will look ahead to game 4 before the half is over.Comment -
