Liking Lakers +6½ at Nuggets

In the battle for the #6 seed in the West, take the Los Angeles Lakers and the points on the road tonight when they face the Denver Nuggets.
The Lakers lost at home to the Suns on Sunday and have fallen a half-game behind the Nuggets in the battle for the West's No. 6 seed.
Denver will take the NBA's longest active winning streak into tonight's game (five straight), which includes a 111-105 win in Los Angeles last Tuesday. The Nuggets are playing excellent basketball right now but I don't want to be laying any points with them. LA has had its moments as a road dog this year and with so much at stake in this game, I believe the points are worth taking. Go with the Lakers in this spot.
