There's no line for this game yet. The Clippers are still red hot and Dallas is going into rest mode, imo. Even with their full lineup, they haven't been themselves at home recently:
Portland W 86-74
New York W 105-103
Milwaukee W 105-103
Boston W 106-101
New Jersey W 102-89
Orlando W 103-98
Cleveland W 95-92
That speaks for itself, imho. That's an incredible 1-6 against the spread and keep in mind that Dallas was playing with their full lineup (except for the Portland game) and seemingly going all out in these games. Please note that none of the teams above are nearly as good as the Clippers are right now (Jay Edgar has them ranked fourth in POWER RATINGS OVER LAST TEN GAMES).
In their last game, Dallas played without Josh Howard and Jerry Stackhouse and Dirk Nowitzki played only 26 minutes. I look for this trend to continue, Dallas should learn a lesson from Detroit last year and rest up.
Meanwhile, this is a huge game for the Clippers. I think it's an exhibition game-type situation for Dallas.
Any thoughts on this game?
