Detroit will avenge a home loss to San Antonio tonight. Play the Pistons plus the points tonight in the Alamo City versus the Spurs.

The Pistons travel to San Antonio off a 6-point loss at Houston last night with revenge from a home loss earlier this year against the Spurs.

Detroit (43-24) is 21-13 against the spread on the road this season, and 9-2 versus the numbers revenging a home loss. San Antonio (47-20) is 0-4 ATS as home favorites in the 3½-6 points range, and the Spurs are just 3-5 ATS playing the Central Division.

With Detroit 9-3 ATS away off SU & ATS loss this season, including 3-0 ATS as a dog, we'll grab the points in this payback tonight.

Playing the Spurs minus the points tonight will bring a little jingle-jangle to your pockets. Side with San Antonio at home versus Detroit.

The San Antonio Spurs recently had their 13-game win streak snapped (by Milwaukee) and then lost their next game at home to the Celtics. That second loss woke the Spurs up and they realize they cannot be complacent this time of the year.

There are 15 games until the playoffs, and I expect San Antonio to be extremely focused down the stretch. Earlier this year, San Antonio went into The Palace and defeated Chris Webber & Co. rather handily, which surprised many people since Detroit had won nine of 10 going into that game. But the fact remains that San Antonio can be a really good team, if it wants to, and Detroit should get the Spurs' best effort here on Friday.

Detroit also might be short-handed, as Chauncey Billups could miss this game. That's enough to give the edge to the Spurs, as Billups gives San Antonio problems with his post-up game.

I'm on SA tonight guys... And I turned down great tickets so I could watch NCAA games on TV, even though I have TiVo. I knew I;d end up checking my phone or hitting up the bar and catching the score. Sometimes I anger myself because that Spurs game would have been fun.
