Really strange line for this series. Is it because the Suns swept the season series or because people like Durant? Or because Towns isn't all the way back? The season series thing doesn't mean much to me -not falling for that one.

Suns imo are better than last year, though Durant isn't/slowly becoming over the hill, and lately Booker isn't showing much.

Last year their bench was horrendous, and past the big 2 they didn't have anything much at all.

Beal seems to be coming into his own after being injured for much of the year. Lately been playing better than both Durant and Booker.

O'Neale was a decent role player can pick up the trash/do the rest. Nurkic has been hoarding rebounds, Allen hitting 3s at high clip.

Past those guys they got nothing, Eubanks is a joke so is Bol Bol. But that's more than the top heavy lineup they had last year.

Shamet & G.Allen about the same. Landale better than Eubanks. O'Neale is an upgrade at forward, I grant you that, but overall chemistry better last year. Undone by injuries.

Ok, you think it's comparable: last year's Shamet, Paul, and Ayton vs this year's Beal, Allen, Nurkic. No chance.

You got me on Eubanks. I'll take Landale over Eubanks coming off the bench. No brainer.

The biggest issue for the Suns last year was they had nobody who could shoot wide open 3s. So they'd crash Durant and Booker. Every team with any sense would put 2 guys on Durant immediately. You can't do that with Beal on the floor. O'Neale is able to hit shots and pick up garbagwe, and Allen obviously can hit those open 3s if you're pressing the big stars.

Ayton is talented but inconsistent and dumb, Nurkic provides more of a physical presence and rebounds.

Well anyways we can go on about this forever, but I get it.

It appeared they had a chance vs the Nuggets last year. Didn't have Paul nor Ayton in the game 6 where they were eliminated. Like I say, lots of problems for them this year. Missed this one because I felt the T'Wolves would need to make difficult adjustments before winning -oof!

I still don't understand that series price, which makes me wonder if I'm missing something. I suspect it's because of Durant more than anything else; a lot of people think he is the best American player these days (Curry, I would say).

You're over-complicating things. Chemistry & matchups are the main factors in NBA games. What the blackies do in their free time is not important.
