pistons-wolves is untouchable imo. who knows which one of these guys decides to show up (or not) to tonight's regular season game. it doesn't mean anything.

but, if you got an angle go for it.

For me this is a pass

i don't know what goes on in the locker room and outside the locker room, unless it's truly a game that matters

clippers are a case study in that imo

some of these guys can barely finish high school and have so much $ and never worked in their lives, listening to agents, superstars on guaranteed contracts...

nfl you're guaranteed effort in regular season games. not the nba

as for the pistons tanking you tell me which guy is tanking, which guy cares. probably because the team sux they actually want to play tonight, all of them. you'll find less effort on better teams, stars with guaranteed contracts.

the owners of course try to pick the worst possible guys and tank, but that doesn't mean the players will

The West playoff race is tough. T'Wolves need to try to win all their games.

Tanking comes from top down. Players generally try to win.

I wouldn't. The Pistons were completely embarrassed last night and should play hard against the Wolves. Detroit is also capable of random wins now and again, as they have won at Denver, Utah and Golden St somehow.

That being said, I certainly wouldn't bet Detroit either because they're awful. The Pistons also notched a win in Minnesota less than 2 weeks ago, so this could be a mini-revenge spot for the Wolves. Nobody wants to get swept by the Pistons!

                        Indeed!

Injury report looking a bit worse... Anderson questionable, Bojan probable. Bojan is the Pistons' best player these days. Anderson a glue guy for the T'Wolves. Pistons still without their bigs though so Gobert ought to dominate.

Rough one injury wise. They lose Edwards up 49-41 4mins into the 2nd. He returns down 87-101 at the beginning of the 4th... why? Either you're hurt or you're not...

Next up for the Pistons are the Pels.

That's what I'm saying, maybe this guy was hurt maybe he wasn't. These regular season games, capping is like herding cats. A lot of these guys' minds are out in space.

Hmm chemistry a huge deal in the NBA. When things are good everybody wants to play and win. When it's hard you have slippage in effort. Point play seems to be the most common problem in the NBA with teams favouring prolific scorers like Russell or K.Porter over a floor general like Lowry.

sure everyone wants to play on a great team. you see the issue tonight though, that regular season chemistry can go out the door in an instant with an injury. these guys play too fast, because they don't allow defense anymore-there's no way to slow down anyone.

jamal murray looks like an ankle sprain but who knows. hoping it's nothing more.

lot of selfish players are hard to come by in the nba. you have to wonder why some guys despite scoring and rebounding seem to go from team to team.
