Although the model, in the past week, scored well against the spread, at 68.8%, that just can’t be sustained. Lines just jumped in the model’s favor this week, is the best that can be said. Also, despite a solid showing picking straight-up winners - 66.6% - the MOV/MOL variance increased nearly every day – which is not a good sign.
Hope you’ve gotten used to the new projections frame, because I’ve kicked the old one to the curb.
Also, I’m going out of the country for a week (Hong Kong and Macau), which means that unless I get suddenly very competent with my smart phone, this week will end on Thursday!! However, unless I’m struck with Covid, I expect to be back in my Hawaiian saddle by next Tuesday,
