Disregarding Tuesday's game and going straight forward to Wednesday, you've got to like how Detroit is starting to get healthy and jell again. I like them to avenge their loss earlier this season to Atlanta in a BIG way. Atlanta is tailor made for a blowout as they are not a good shooting team and Detroit is one of the best defensive teams in the league when they are on their game.

Detroit-6 5 (Projected)

The Liberty are on the road and playing an eastern team with a hot home court streak going. Time for that to end, although playing the Liberty will drive you nuts because they don't make good decisions down the stretch themselves. All in all I see an outright dog win in this one. This game will go under of course as the Liberty always go under when playing inner conference games. The Sky are all set up for a huge letdown after blowing out the Silver Stars. They may be overlooking the Liberty and get their clocks cleaned.

Liberty+4.5 (Projected) HEAVY

Phoenix already got their "excuse me" win against Detroit. The game went to overtime, and the Mercury won, which makes them an autofade the next game. Minnesota is equal to them in talent, especially with Taurasi out. Her absence didn't hurt them against the tired Shock, but it will hurt them against another run and gun team that is more physical than they are. The Lynx are starved for a win and they will show up with their game faces on. The bitches were already ugly anyway. That is just gonna make it worse. They came close against the Storm. This time they kick in the door.

So Sexymit, the lines for Wednesdays games will be up by 8:00am pst tomorrow. I like the Lynx HEAVY. I think that this is one of those times when we may have to be line watchers ALL DAY with the Phoenix/Lynx line in order to get the appropriate number to play the game at. The number I have above is satisfactory for how I capped the game. All that we need are 3-5 to 4 points. Anything more than that is a blessing.

Detroit and the Liberty will be fine to play later on as Detroit is viewed as a bad team still by the public. This game will have RLM on it as people put their faith and money on Atlanta when there is no chance in hell for them to win this game. I see a point or point and a half drop. Just for your information, the PC's are eyeballing this game (Detroit vs Atlanta) and may make a move on it. If they do, I automatically have to play this game for 3 dimes or more. So be on standby for that.

No matter what the Liberty will be catching TOO MANY points in this game. I honestly think that 2.5 points for them is too many. The Sky garner a lot of attention and money when they are home, and the public has gotten too comfortable taking them there. The Liberty will shake things up as they are starting their customary 2nd half push.

Do not ask me to play the Monarchs again even if they have GREAT RLM. Neither of those teams are playing in form and are not ready for money to be placed on them yet.

However, the Sparks have the ability to get better on their own this year without making a single trade or roster adjustment. The more that Candace practices and participates with the team the more she will get her timing back. The rest of the players on her team are used to her dominating, so they are deferring to her when she is on the floor at a time when she is needed only for conditioning purposes. If she gets a stick back or an assist fine, but she is not to be counted on to save the day yet. Although this situation calls for a play on the Sparks, I am not ready to lay money on them yet either. I have a feeling that we wil leave money on the table with this game but I am willing to err on the side of caution and watch and learn from this game. It's either play the Sparks or else leave this game alone. Seattle is in a tough spot to get the cover in this game.
