LA Lakers Spread (-4.5 / -5) vs. LA Clippers

My pick tonight is the L.A. Lakers -4.5 / -5 Spread at the Staples Center against a shorthanded Clippers team. Lakers are also missing a couple guys, but I don't think Lonzo Ball is much of a loss lol. No Bogut yet either. Clippers probably resting most of the team & they're on a back to back. I don't like the chalk, but hey, I think the Lakers will do alright enough. I don't have a play on it, but I kinda like the Kings +12.5 against the GS Warriors tonight too.

I mainly chose to fade the Clippers tonight because most of their team won't be playing, they didn't even shoot around this morning, and some of the guys were chilling out at a restaurant last night in Beverly Hills after the Kings Game (with Blake Griffin & Kendall Jenner of the Kardashian clan at the helm of the table) lol. I think they're a little bit in chillax mode until the season tips off. The Lakers might exploit this tonight. Lakers could use a win simply for morale in what has been a pretty awful pre-season lol.

It's a preview of these team's respective openers -the highlight of opening week imo with the best passer out of Europe going against the best passer out of the NCAA (maybe the two best passers in the world). Not tonight though of course, with Ball sidelined.

I hear you on that. I think the season opener will be far different than what we actually witness on the court tonight.
