The Bulls are more erratic than in 2011-2014 but they're certainly more talented in my mind. They're a legitimate contender in that conference to me, I know I should probably let it go but I will say until the day I die that they should've won the East last year and had the Cavs dead and buried in game 4 before letting them back in it. Or, at the very least, that taking them at +785 and losing was unfortunate.
Now every year is different. We'll see what happens this year. It's certainly possible Cleveland just walks into June unscathed. It rarely happens that way though, you're bound to be tested at some point. Sometimes it's when you least expect it, the only team that came close to beating the Spurs in 2014 was the Mavs when everyone including me expected the Spurs to lose at most 1 game in that series.
But in the meantime, I was talking about regular season ball. There is a lot of parity right now around the league especially in the East with the rankings changing every day.
