Just a marketplace observation that a handicapper could give some attention.

I took New York -3 (-105) and watched it move to -3.5, as I expected. Of course, either side can win, but when I correctly anticipate a line movement, it usually bodes well for me.

The more I look, the more I see I missed a winner in the OVER this morning. I hate missing winning plays, once they're gone you can't get them back.

Good point...last NBA season I was so good (better than expected) during the first half that I made very few bets between the Break and playoffs. It just seemed liked I was trying to avoid the inevitable.

It's tough though. Just as the market seems to catch up for the second half of a season, it can also react between seasons. It's entirely possible that next year losers will be early in the season, and the winners come in the second half.

These markets have a way bouncing around and often times come full circle (for lack of a better term).

This is why understanding the marketplace and being able to adapt with confidence are so important.
