fusion, I think that the total in the Cleveland/Portland game is too low. As far as Oklahoma, they should get it done, but with a spread that size Nebraska will always be in the game.

You have to tell us more about your wrestling career too. Which weight division, your record stuff like that. I used to wrestle in HS myself. Was pretty good on JV, not so much on the Varsity though...... LOL... smokin weed and drinking beers never helped back in those days. I've got huge respect for wrestlers. Best athletes in my opinion.

so i see everyone is on the whole byu-unlv the home team always wins bandwagon. one of those teams will win on the road one time or another. however, unlv is garbage and byu should handle them, although byu has looked pretty bad at times this year. i'm staying away from that game but good luck all.

Wow, that's one hell of a spread to give Clemson. Putting my heart into the mix, I can't see how anyone wouldn't take those points. But what worries me is that Clemson will lose, but it's just a matter of by how much..... I would have to take them points and find out the hard way...

Well Clemson hung in with WF last Sat before losing by 10 at home. I can see this being from 10-15 as it would be competetive, but also Carolina could get it up to close to 20 by the end if things get a little out of hand like they did last Sat. This game is a no play for me...too many other good games to choose from.

A little trend info. on the Boston-Miami first quarter. This is just winning or losing a quarter straight up...no points involved because I could not find that information.

Boston STRAIGHT up in the 1st quarter their last 20 games- 15-4-1

Miami STRAIGHT up in the 1st quarter their last 20 games 4-14-2.

Presently Boston is -115 ML for the first quarter.

Seems like a very solid play just off of those numbers and then when you take into the fact that Miami is at home for the first time off of a long road trip it makes this play stronger.

Adding a little more ammo for this play....they have not faced each other this year...BUT, in their last four meetings dating back to last year Boston is 3-0-1 in the first quarter against the Heat.

Boston -115 ML first quarter.

Florida St -6.5 Yes the public is all over them but why not? They beat Florida and lost to both Pitt and Duke by 8 points. I am seeing an upset in this one.

South Carolina -1

Wisconsin -2.5

Also liking Marshall and those NY Knicks and Mavs in the Pro hoops.

scaapattack, I can't take full credit for those...the BYU pick was all ck, I tailed him on that one. I will say, I think just about everyone here loved the celts and cleveland. I actually teased cleveland and byu.

Damn! Thanks for showing me and others that link. I LOVE this type of wagering! Especially when you find a good team like Boston for the 1st QTR and a BAD team like Miami (at least recently) for the 1st QTR. This is all about putting the ODDS in OUR favor.

At a PK, I would prefer to take the home team. And I do have the Cavs for the game. But the average half score between these two teams is 45.5 Cleveland and 46.3 Portland. I would say that Portland is the better pick for the 1st half with the home crowd and the refs on their side..

I know what you mean DevilDog..... such a great way to start the night with a quick win. We could have made a killing the other night on the Celts over Phoenix. Celts won the 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 1st half and 3rd quarter as well as covered the Game spread. 5 Wagers in 1 game. Now that is what I'm talking about!

The line on the Celts/Heat game hasn't moved at my book, still 5.5. I'm wondering if the bookies think the C's are looking past Miami with the big Orlando game looming tomorrow? Right now the Celtics are -4.5 over Orlando, usually you can't bet it until today's game is done. Weird.
